Hello community,
I would like to address the current situation that has recently occurred with Backs and Kevin. There has been non stop discussion(s) on what transpired and what the punishment should be. We’ve heard the concerns of the community and we, Head Staff, have come up with a resolution to this ordeal. The fact that Backs threatened a fellow community member is not prohibited nor is it allowed in any USL forum; this includes in-zone, discord or website alike. Backs has been a consistent source of league drama; in which he has intentionally caused strife amongst community members. This player has been silenced in the past; in game and discord multiple times to no avail. He has also been banned from league play prior for two separate instances; spec info and for a threatening a prior players as well. He has had captaincy privileges revoked. None of these punishments have worked in aiding this player rehabilitate and reform; which is unfortunate.
As we continue to see this player trending towards a downward spiral; it is our duty to protect the community, its members, and act quickly against situations as these. There will be punishment in relation to the antics backs has and is portraying.
His punishment will be as follows:
Backs will be banned effectively immediately. The terms of his ban will be the following:
* Banned from all USL Zones until the ending of Season 58 is over; this includes the interim off-seasons as well. In essence he is banned for the remainder of this season, next two seasons, and/or including the off-seasons as well.
* He will also have all access removed from all USL related forums (e.g. discord, website and any other official USL platform).
* He will have his access revoked from joining any squad until his suspension is lifted.
If this player is found circumventing the ban and is found guilty in a potential bypass; he will be permanently banned from participating in USL indefinitely. If there are players found assisting backs in bypassing any of the bullet points above; there will be recourse for those individual(s) as well.
Please note: The staff has made every effort to rehabilitate backs after every punishment. The consistent punishments have not deterred him from consistently creating chaos within our league. Hopefully this substantial response to his antics cause him to steer into a course of self reflection and implementation of necessary changes.
For those wondering: The staff is also discussing an additional doxxing concern that recently occurred. That will be posted soon.
Lastly, the findings, evidence, discussion, enforcement and implementation of these measures taken by staff were discussed and agreed to openly amongst all head staff members before this post was made.
