Dear esteemed USL friends,

Hello! I am assuming similar posts have been made in the past, or maybe some of you have been individually approached about this topic. I do know a portion of this community, maybe not enough people, but I thought I would make this post anyways.

I am sure some of you know that CTFPL is starting an ovd (offense v defense) league to jump-start the community. Traditionally, CTFPL games were played 10v10, but having it as ovd reduces the population requirement and provides faster content, reducing time commitment time as well.

Ovd runs 15 minutes maximum per side (15 minutes defending, 15 or less minutes attacking depending on success) - so at most you would be expecting a 30 minute time commitment to help this league out and hopefully enjoy yourself in the process. I can't speak for everyone, but a lot of people in this community have matured over the 10+ years of playing this game. A lot of us are chilled out, just like to have fun, and are knowledgeable and willing to help you learn if you are curious enough to learn.

I am reaching out to this community to see if there is any interest in joining, and to bring to attention that there is in fact activity brewing in CTFPL. Many current USL players in this league were originally CTFPL players, so a lot of you would be surrounded by familiar faces.

If any of you are interested in finding a squad but you are not sure where to start, send me a PM on on this website and I'll help arrange something for you, and hopefully align you with players that you already know and whom you are familiar with.

It's all right comrades, this guy's legit. Well, his character is questionable, but CTFPL is a blast! And you know I'm trustworthy USL player, as I won the FI Season 2 USL Championship, and also have several other awards. Your great leader Khaos will vouch for me.

well to answer that question Nos. Energy weapons souly focus on energy dmg. In other zones you do not have generators. Once plasma weapons drain the energy and the Gen shuts off that is when they start to really do most of the dmg. Cara is mainly protected VS explosive dmg frags rifle grenades rpgs etc. P6 is more for dmg vs bullets AR rifles and other pistol/rifle dmg weapons. But it gets deeper, PF Gen has a faster energy reload rate. But in turn is weak VS explosive dmg/ strong VS ken dmg from assault rifles. IDF gen has a slower energy reload rate but has a stronger explosive dmg rate/weak VS rifle dmg. Being good at CTFPL really relies on awareness. Knowing who is already energy drained and focusing your fire on that person to take him out and then move on to the next. That's why on a 5 man defense we have 1 heavy 2 infs, 1 med to heal and tranq and 1 engineer to keep rets up to protect our flags and use electron beamer to drain the offense of energy. 1 D inf will most likely always use CAW which is an awesome draining weapon and doesn't really do dmg until the persons GEN is drained and is shut off. While the other inf has shotgun, both also have AR rifle if I may add. But ya the SG inf focuses on taking out the players who have been drained from the engineers EB and the other infs CAW. When a infantry is at 0 energy, 1 rifle grenade takes an inf from 60HP to 0. So If you can be aware enough to know who is drained and then focus on those players. You should be an effective player. The heavy is a passive class that really stays behind the D infs and provides heavy support. Micro missile launcher and Maklov AC cannon rounds. All explosive DMG. SO the heavy relies on the infs and the engy to do there job draining the offense of there energy to really do effect damage and be an important asset.

You hear this 1 season newbie talking shit about my 10years and how I play ha this is hilarious. More credibility my ass. I had to practically beg people to get you spots on teams because you were not good enough. I actually have allot of credibility maybe not as a captain but defiantly as a player you dumb shit. Just because I went to jail does not mean I am not successful number one and number two you sound like you have allot of anger. Maybe being the unpopular kid your whole life is finally getting to you. For some one who hasn't spent much time in CTFPL you do not know much do you kid. I have credibility from people who matter. I can care less what people who never made top tier are telling you. My acknowledgement comes from the higher ups. Your taking opinions from people who never even got close to a PL ring yet they have room to comment about my experience in this league? Your even more of an idiot for listening to them lol. I can care less what they think like I said I have my followers and the people I am close with are Higher ups. So if you want to listen to propaganda that's your choice. I'm purely here to suggest PL to USLers who are interested. I didn't ask for your opinion nor your negative comments. If you think PL isn't for you then it isn't for you what ever I don't care. But don't sit here and bad mouth are league influencing other players who are interested in to not playing. We don't do that to USL it's not right your doing that here.
