Once he does this for those who forgot about lightbringer(Azhor Ahai's sword) Jaime will be the reincarnation.. it isn't Jon Snow, it wasn't Beric or Stannis but Jaime. After he kills Cersei he will bring an end to the white walkers.

Here's my thoughts. The final episode is a non stop epic battle from start to finish it ends with John Snow dead and the final scene sees daenarys take the throne after defeating the white walkers and all other challengers to the throne. Then the end credits role and a quote appears on the screen "Everything in this world is magic...except to the magician". Robert Ford We then hear a jukebox play an old times rendition of heart shaped box and we then see a montage of John Snow on a train going to Sweetwater and Danaerys walking through town looking sweet and innocent.

damn, idk the books haven't even finished yet. dude prob did it on purpose since the movies where successful. releasing the last book with the last movie makes sense to be honest. more sales on the books

It got to the point where the show passed him and he pretty much gave up the rights to the story but obviously still helped them in the direction it needed to go.

He didn't give up the rights, not that I'v heard. I think what is happening is that he was trying to keep up with the movie production since season 6, and when the movie surpassed him, he had to work on the movie with the directors, so he wasn't really able to finish the book. remember the ending of GoT is going to be the same as the book, so for sure all he was doing was trying to help finish the movie. Book on the other hand is going to have WAY more details than the movies, so it just takes longer to publish.
