The Returning Champions from Birds and Warhawks have entered into an unholy alliance with Sovender's Snakes and the result can only be one thing - A Championship Ring. K Dude is the Romulocks Power Ranking #1 Team Overall - and it's easy to see why when you take a quick gander down that star-studded roster. Champion, Colossal, Tactical, The Gift, Noskeeper, Fairfax, Iron, Eric - this is a roster teeming with talent, overloaded at basically every position. They have the best medics in the game right now in Iron and Fairfax, the best special class players in Tactical and Champion, and some of the league's best marines in the remainder. It's truly a sight to behold, as I imagine their matches will be as well. My Prediction for the season is that they win out. I don't see another squad coming close to bringing this level of firepower and precision in any match over the long-term, but the best matches for the season will be K Dude v. Cocaine. Darkslayers showed a version of themselves we hadn't seen in the Season 25 playoffs, but I really don't expect them to be able to keep pace with this SuperGroup. The only struggles I have when analyzing this team are asking which of these players actually ends up playing medic, as you have four very capable people in that position, and secondly who will lead this squad - Sov, Gift, or Tactical? I think all three are capable, and that might change game-to-game. Overall: 9.5/10 - #1 Squad in Romulocks Power Ranking for Season 26

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Player Notes

Almost certainly the most valuable player on any team he is on, Sov has an incredible ability to both lead his team in-game and simultaneously play at the highest level. Inidividually he is an incredible marine, both accurate and intuitively gifted. But he is also incredible at managing his players and herding them towards the enemy with superior positioning. Always one or two steps ahead of the average team, Sov can play any role on the field that is needed and still lead his team to victory. It's a rare quality making him one of the greatest Infantry players of all-time.

One of the best all-around players this game has ever seen. Champ has the capability to play any position - marine, ripper, demo, sniper, hell even medic - and be the MVP of the match. His streams are more accurately described as lasers, and he has an uncanny ability to hold off 3-4 opponents by himself due to his careful and deliberate positioning.

Possibly the most raw, talented player in USL, Noskeeper has been pretty inactive of late. But when he returns, no matter what class he randomly decides to play, he ranks on the boards and lays the hurt on the enemy team. He is a gifted dueler, extremely accurate with any weapon he is using. He is also excellent at misdirection, resulting in ambush kills or swift counter-attacks before anyone has a chance to react. Nos is capable of being the best player on this squad, which is incredible given the talent level he is up against.
93
On a team of excellent players, Tactical will still stand out as one of the best players on the team. Capable of playing nearly any role at the highest tier, he is probably most comfortable and effective as a marine or demo, although he frequently breaks out the Ranger and Grenadier as well. Very accurate and wily, Tactical is a tough son-of-a-bitch to kill when he really doesn't want to die, and his field vision is on par with the best players on his team.

Currently the best medic in the USL, and one of the greatest medics of all-time along with players like Sky, tp-, and Fairfax. He is an excellent marine, but give him a medpack and the confidence level of the team and people he is around soars.
92
Very confident, aggressive marine with a tremendous grasp of the entire map and enemy team movement. He is probably best suited at flanking roles and solo scouting, and can be counted on for big kills that open battles and LAW finishes that seal wins for his team.
92
Colossal is a most-consistent and dominant marine whose best qualities land him in the middle of the main attack regularly. He excels at dodging and LAW snipes, although his most underrated quality is his vision for cross-fire that frequently results in battle-opening kills. An excellent player who should never be underestimated or counted out.
92
The best support marine in the history of USL - The Gift in recent seasons has discovered another hidden talent of his was leadership as he piloted both Birds and Warhawks to championship success. A wise player, what he lacks in skill he makes up for in smart play and great positioning, and frequently will pick off a player who isn't looking his direction. Gift is best when the other team isn't focusing on him, and this season looks like it will be the best of conditions for him to thrive as a player and leader.

Fairfax will always go down in my book as one of the greatest medics to ever play this game. But he has also played something like 40 seasons as a medic, and I imagine he is pretty tired of being typecast at this point. For the past few seasons he has played marine, a role at which is very capable, although perhaps not his strongest suit when he is flanked with a star-studded lineup like his team currently is. Unless activity is an issue with this squad I expect to see Fairfax play more medic this season. I think as a marine he is very good but there are better options should all the players on this team report for duty.

Staley is the quality player that everyone would love to have in their lineup. He is a capable and quality marine, but he can also flex and play a special class should that be necessary. His best class is undeniably medic however, and the quality of his play is advanced when Fairfax is playing the other half of that role for the team - they have a really great synergy between them. Staley does have moments where he falls short and makes a blunder, but those games are few and far between. He also has the possibility of placing in the top-3 killers on the squad so his upside potential dramatically outweighs the potential of his inconsistent play. I'd look to see quite a bit of medic play from his this season and if so he will likely end up top of the boards overall for the role.

Slob is probably the weakest player on this roster, and he is still very, very good. A quality marine, he has excelled at medic in recent seasons and will likely be able to contribute a significant amount in that capacity for this squad. But this season he means business - no hotdogs, no tacos, only SLOB.
