Grades are based on our own player rankings. Avg rank is where a team’s picks ranked in the pool (lower is better). Pick value is the average, per ranked pick, of how far the slot a player was taken at was from where they ranked; teams are graded in that order, and a draft clearly above or below fair value moves up or down from there. A single pick counts at most 6 spots either way, and reaches count slightly more than steals. Steals and reaches are picks 3 or more spots off. Players we haven’t ranked don’t count either way. Draft grades are fixed when the draft ends.
Kevin's Draft Event: Addicts Lead the Grades, Late Medics Shine
Kevin's Draft Event put 51 picks across four teams, and the main storyline is how much value turned up late. Three of the four biggest steals came after pick 38, and two of them landed on Addicts on The Spectrum, who finished first in the grade order with an A. Involuntary Service took a B, Free Will a C-, and We The People a D, even though We The People opened the draft with God at pick 1 and carry the best combined K/D of the four teams at 1.36.
The best picks
solid snake22 went to Addicts on The Spectrum at pick 47, 12 spots later than expected. The Marine has 83 league games across 18 seasons. His career numbers are modest at 4.5 kills per game and a 0.5 K/D, but he averaged 6.6 kills per game over 11 games in Season 56, so he arrives in form. At that slot, a veteran with recent output is easy value.
auctistic also tied for the biggest steal at 12 spots, going to We The People at pick 40. The Ripper has 67 games over 16 seasons and averages 7.6 kills per game with a 0.93 K/D. He posted the same 7.6 kills per game over five games last season. For a team that needed depth behind its stars, that is a useful return.
chica went to Addicts on The Spectrum at pick 39, ten spots later than expected, and is the pick that matters most to the healing game. The medic has 29 seasons and 138 games behind them, averaging 2,711 healing per game with 374,120 total healing. In Season 56 they averaged 3,560 healing per game over eight games. Kills are a smaller part of the medic role, and chica's 0.19 medic K/D reflects that, but the healing is the headline. A League MVP award is on the résumé too.
Fausto went to Free Will at pick 19, nine spots later than expected, and was that team's best value. The Marine has played 187 games over 29 seasons with 6.8 kills per game and a 1.36 K/D. Last season he averaged 7.9 kills per game with a 2.29 K/D over 11 games. He has a League MVP award as well.
The biggest reaches
A reach is about the slot, not the player, and each of these players brings something real.
Jager went to We The People at pick 33, ten spots earlier than expected, the largest gap in the draft. The Marine has 24 league games over four seasons, with 4 kills per game and a 0.34 K/D. That is a small sample, and he was at his best last season with nine games played, so there is room to grow into the pick.
Sam went to Addicts on The Spectrum at pick 18, seven spots early. The medic has 92 games over 22 seasons, 1,883 healing per game and 173,248 total healing. He averaged 2,373 healing per game over seven games in Season 56, and he has five championships. The slot was the surprise, not the résumé.
KI went to Addicts on The Spectrum at pick 31, six spots early. The Light Machinegunner has only 10 league games over two seasons, with 4.5 kills per game. He played nine games last season, so the sample is thin and the pick is a bet on development.
Team by team
Addicts on The Spectrum (A, 1 of 4) have the deepest healing room in the draft. Four medics by usual class are on the roster: i, Sam, chica and Jokers are wild. i was taken at pick 2 and brings 20 championships and a 3,023 healing-per-game average from Season 56. Up front, tg (10 kills per game, 2.42 K/D), Shasta (9.5, 2.73) and K (9.6, 1.4) lead the Marines, and captain BirdofBig adds a League MVP and 21 seasons of experience. Nine players hold a championship. The combined K/D of 1.02 is the lowest of the four teams, but this roster is built on healing and experience. They look like contenders.
Involuntary Service (B, 2 of 4) have the most championship experience, with 12 players holding at least one. Captain Slash has 10.8 kills per game and a 2.92 K/D, and he put up 11.3 kills per game with a 3.16 K/D over 12 games last season. Aska (Light Machinegunner, 12 kills per game last season) and Colossal (15.9 kills per game and a 3.46 K/D last season) give them real firepower. Medics bonds (2,802 healing per game, 193,344 total) and Tyson anchor the back line. The later picks are less proven, but the front end is dangerous. Expect them to be in the mix all season.
Free Will (C-, 3 of 4) have a solid group of kill-getters in G, Sabotage, somera, Killer and Fausto, all averaging between 6.8 and 9.3 kills per game. somera and Sabotage both had strong Season 56 numbers, at 9.4 and 8.

How the draft league works
Quick guideHow the draft league works
- Sign up on the draft hub while signups are open.
- Captains draft teams in the draft room, taking turns in a set order. Signed-in players can watch it live.
- The league then plays a schedule of games. Each game has a date and time (Eastern).
- Teams are ranked on the standings page as the season goes.
Playing your games
- Play on the scheduled night, on the Mix server, with your drafted teammates against the other team.
- Results are recorded automatically from the game, so there is nothing to submit. It can take a few minutes; if a result still looks missing later, tell a staff member.
- Some rounds are a series (a best of 3, for example). The team that wins most of the games takes the series.
Reading the standings
- Teams are ranked by series won, then by point difference. Points are kills.
- Form shows the last five results, oldest first. Picks shows how a team's picks have played compared with where they were taken: above zero means they are doing better than their draft slot.
- The Draft column shows each team's draft grade, and a small arrow shows whether the team is ranked above or below its grade.
- Tap a finished game to see its full stats.
More than one draft?
- The tabs at the top switch between drafts. Each tab shows whether that draft is taking signups, being played or finished.
- Signing up for a new draft does not change anything about a draft already under way.
- All drafts, including finished ones, are on the Draft history page.
