Greetings friends, welcome to my 100% accurate preseason breakdown. I'll keep it brief so people don't get mad.

1. Special Forces

My initial reaction to SFo returning was to just go back into hiding and play some other game. The majority of SFo is back, with the addition of Sov I feel they are easily the number 1 seed. A lot of their starters seem to be having activity issues but I have a feeling they will be around once their tougher matches come. Not sure what's up with fake Sky but he is nowhere near as good as he used to be. Maybe he needs a new computer or he needs Kippa to be around more so he can focus on playing and not leading. I expect 100% by week 7 gato.

Projected lineup:

Champion (Marine)
DeviL (Marine)
e (Marine)
Leon/Colossal/em4awon (Marine)
Sky (Marine)
The Great Khali (Marine)
Manu (Medic)
Prime/navy (Medic)

Key player: Champion

Hate him or love him, you can't deny that he isn't one of the most consistent players around. His ability to open up battles for his squad is what makes him a great player. Champion is my number one contender for the marine award, good luck Chris.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Let Sov marine! Don't get me wrong, I think Sov is a beast medic but I would really like to see him play marine for a full season. Manu and navy(assuming Kippa stays inactive) are more than capable of handling medic roles. Edit: I've been corrected, Sov was already on SFo back in SOE, I honestly don't remember much after season 20. SORRY BRO

2. Warhawks

CAW CAW motherfuckers the Warhawks are back! These are probably some of the most chill and relaxed group of guys around. If Sol plays anything like he did last season I expect nothing less that total domination from them. I really hope Trisance shows up for matches, he is still one of best marines around. Warhawks currently have the best medics in my opinion, I expect Fax to win the medic award yet again. Despite losing Ninj I still think they are good enough to make the championship. Good luck friends!

Projected lineup:

Death402 (Marine)
ent (Marine)
Leak (Marine)
Sol (Marine)
tg (Rager)
Trisance (Marine)
Fairfax (Medic)
Kiediss (Medic)

Key player: Leak

I'm happy Leo finally gets to showcase his talent on a good squad, highly underrated player. If he gets benched I'll be really disappointed.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Sum, stop putting yourself on solo flank, you're far more valuable with your main team. I'm not sure if it's something you guys have been experimenting with lately but the times I've seen it in action it clearly doesn't work.

3. Apocalypse

The snakes slither in for another season. Apollo's leading on top of really smart players makes for a deadly combo. I haven't had the pleasure of playing with OMC that much but this man is a really good player. We have a couple of timing issues to work on but it due time I expect great things from this squad.

Projected lineup:

Black (Marine)
Hero (Bronze V)
Ice (Marine)
Ildjarn (Marine)
shas (Marine)
Tactical (Marine)
Fire and Ice/Lana Del Rey (Medic)
Stavudine (Medic)

Key player: Ice

Now some of you are going to say I'm trolling but I'm not. There is a lot of pressure on him to perform well this season.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Steve drop law please.

4. Predators

Predators is back again but with a much stronger lineup than last season. This squad confuses the hell out of me though. At times they play like a championship calibre squad and other times they play really bad. Maybe they are trying out different leaders or strategies but they need to stick to what works. Every marine on this squad is solid (except for Cael lol) and I see no reason why they can't pull out a win versus the top 3. I hope Vince Carter takes their matches seriously and doesn't mess around because he is a really good medic when he actually tries.

Projected lineup:

Dragon/District (Marine)
ExTrEmE(1) (Marine)
mc (Marine)
Q (Marine)
Savage (Marine)
Unb (Marine/Light Machinegunner)
Red (Medic)
Vince Carter (Medic)

Key player: Q

Call me crazy but I think Below has the potential to be a top player. He needs to work on his map awareness and tone the agression towards his squaddies down a bit though.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Trust Fausto! I've been on squads with him and he is probably the single most underrated leader in the game.

5. Tank

I felt really bad over ditching albert but I'm glad they decided to stick around. Over the last week this squad has really improved, not sure if it's because Prisoner seems to be back or if albert has been improving as a leader, whatever it is keep doing it. Killer is a great player, no matter how dire the situation he manages to put up decent numbers for his squad. Hopefully ripper misfires are changed because I would really like to see Tyrael rip this season.

Projected lineup:

albert (Marine)
Killer (Marine)
King/yosh (Marine/Ripper Gunner)
Prisoner (Marine)
Puma (Marine)
Y (Marine)
azn (Medic)
Jane (Medic)

Key player: Prisoner

If there was an Infantry hall of fame Prisoner would be in it. I don't see being on a lower tiered squad slowing down what he does best. For Tank's sake I hope he stays active.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Work on in-game communication a bit more, you have mics.

6. Lifers

I have no idea what is going on with this squad half the time. Their lineup consists of veteran players yet they play like public 3 mech guests~ at times. Not sure if it's the leading or if everyone on this squad just hates each other.

Projected lineup:

BB (Marine)
ER (Marine)
Lyric/Lunar Tick (Marine)
Mizzouse (Marine)
Pandy (Marine)
Universal Soldier 2k (Marine)
chica/Medic (Medic)
STAB (Medic)

Key player(s): ER/Pandy

When these two guys bring their A game anything can happen. Not much else needs to be said, everyone knows what they are capable of.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Get your shit together. The majority of you are USL champions, start acting like it.

7. Access Denied

You have to give it up to Chaos Blade, season after season he manages to get a bunch of guys together and just play. Nobody ever expects much out of AD but they manage to sneak a win or two every time. I'm putting them last simply due to them being inactive.

Projected lineup:

Bias (Marine)
Chaos Blade (Marine)
Draco (Marine)
Emblem (Marine)
Joe (Marine)
Phlow (Marine)
Jokers are wild (Medic)
s.f. (Medic)

Key player: Draco

I feel Dracolich never gets the credit he deserves. He is a solid player, not as flashy as other marines but he gets the job done. I would really like to see him on a better squad someday.

Tactical's protip of the week:

Get more active. AD was one of the most active squads last season but I haven't seen them around as much this season. Even if Chaos Blade isn't there I suggest you guys do some 2v2s or focus fire drills a couple times a week.

i remember iceman told me he literally didn't have a monitor before this season - past seasons he only used the sound of footsteps and bullet trajectories to guide him
