Warhawks vs Lifers
This is the match of the week if you ask me. Yes SFo and Apoc looks to be a good game but a playoff spot is on the line with this game. The winner moves on and the loser goes home. It has been an up and down season for both of these squads. Warhawks has a strong lineup but inactivity problems. Lifers on the other hand has gone through a big makeover in recent weeks but has been able to pull it together and put themselves in position to make the playoffs.
Lets start with warhawks. They are a vet squad with a lot of talent but have struggled with inactive players and inactivity in general. They struggled against apoc and tank gave them a run for their money but they were able to overcome tank. In recent weeks they have been on more and sbing. They either look like a top squad or bottom of the pack. They need to be more consistant and be they sqaud they can be. Someone also needs to get tris and sol to show up to matches. These 2 can really change the outcome of anygame. I do not see them showing for the lifers match. This puts all of the pressure on Ninj(marry me?) and leak to step and be the main guys. Gift needs to make sure death43.2 has a good game and takes a shit at least a half hour before the game. I see Ninj being able to carry in this game but if he has a bad gay Warhawks will not make the playoffs this season.
Now on to lifers. Lifers lost 3 of their starting players mid season and it looked hopeless. They were on the brink of dissolving but bigbird did what great leaders do and recruited in a hurry. He picked up some good players in draco and uzo. They took the new recruits and were able to pull off a huge win against pred and set them up for a possible playoff run. I have watched them SB many times during the week and it will fall on draco, uni and uzo to get the kills for this squad. The other players on the squad just need to stay alive and avoid stupid deaths. I can see them really have a chance if they can avoid dumb deaths. I don't know who has been leading but in recent days it has looked improved. These guys are really going to have a decent shot at the upset. Templar needs to have his best medding game. They need to bench lyric to avoid any stupid deaths and I really think it could happen for these guys.
Overall I think it will be a close match. I do not expect a blowout because lifers is determined and have been playing well. In the end I think they will find a way to win but I also believe ninj with have a great game. I give lifers a 54% chance of beating WH and getting into the playoffs. Final score will be low. 27-32 Lifers.
