for whatever reason in private arenas the silence carries over into pub. not sure why

The only way he could of is with a grant. He's not powered in game.

Yeah we can't control what grants can do. It's rather easy to get one as well, all you have to do is create an arena rofl. Jovan/Mizz/Ace should look into taking away the shutup ability for grants. There is no reason they should have the ability to do so. Especially if the silence moves to public arenas, it should only let you shutup for your arena if anything. Would it be that hard to remove the command from granted aliases?

There's no reason the command should still be working after transferring to a different arena, especially pub. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to remove it from granted players altogether.
