envy has a better kdr, better AP, and better healing than any of the other medics. overall I feel like healing is just a wasted stat. AP shows if you're healing the right people.

Healing is the most useless stats to measure medic performance. I can get way more healing points if my marines are eating bullets like cakes. I can also get more healing points if I’m the medic on the main team with more marines around me. Flank medics usually only have two other marines with him, does that make him heal less? Too many factors involved from teammates to team composition to use healing points as a major factor to evaluate medic.

I’d favor envy this season with his stats and playing all the matches. Medic attendance has always been a factor in determining the awards. Lord Stav might have better stats if he played one more game, too bad he didn’t.

Measuring KDA on a medic is also dumb. Considering I don't want my medics taking kills. 95% of medic kills have been after the battle is already won and they're just cleaning up. I'm sure we've all been in a situation where their medic was shooting and not healing. It's two different playstyles and I think it's unjust to reward one style because it garners more kills.

also I look at MVP in the same regard as the way people look at the old support award. How does one judge value for each individual squad? Or are we doing who is the most valuable to the league? Or both?

If it was who is the most valuable person to the league it would probably be Mizz or Champ. I don't think anyone here has the right to say that person A was more valuable to their squad than person B was to their squad.

Mark for me mvp is someone who can lead and kill or pretty much just have good all around game and be extremely important to your squad. Originally I wanted to vote for sov but he never squad joins in-game so I had to default it to leak. MVP as in league not website.

We don't really have any playoff/champ awards besides the rings and captain medal. Why not try to change league mvp to playoff/champ mvp? The player who performs really well during the playoffs/champs, medics included.

I'm also fine with support award being aimed at actual support classes going forward. Might entice people to actually play classes other than Marine.

But we don't keep stats in playoffs, so the voting would be 100% objective.

And support award for the one player that plays it? Or can we count in yosh as LMG?

MVP - most valuable player to his team, idc would not be in first without leak, and he's #2 in kills while leading. Sov might get it but who knows what his stats are because he wont join squad.

Playoffs and champ match are held on the same night. It's not hard to see who played well in that time frame.

MVP: Kippa, he played for a team all season well below his pay grade (No offense to Allegiance)

Apoc - meds are inting.
IDC - They hold on to the first seed but could easily been the 4th seed if sol showed up and champ didn't get paid to boost for one game.
BBB - Same as apoc. Meds are their weakest link.

Don't think easoe should get best marine for getting the 3rd seed when BBB has a solid rine lineup. It's BBB meds that really hold them back and a few rines who play the role of leeroy jenkins. Not sure why there is hype for stavudine to win best med. Apoc barely made it into the playoffs unless you're trying to justify that everyone on apoc was so shit that stavudine was the saving grace to make playoffs.

Yeah but Jordan, you don't know what's going on in IDC or any other squad. Like, I led/med simultaneously. I also had a team full of people helping me. Like, you could say Leak IDC because he is their known leader and has kills. But I could also say Kippa, Sov or Yosh. Nobody knows everything they do except for the people on those squads.

I personally like Champs idea and turning it into a playoff award.

Edit: its not based on stats, but everyone will be watching who did what, and it shouldnt be based on stats anyways.

I honestly believe that MVP award should be done by the best standout player on their squad then its voted by staff from that line up at the end of the season. It would make it more credible.
