no I haven't seen it yet. what is the UAV going to be used for exactly? does it go off when the camp timer is up?

I've mentioned twice about decreasing the camp timers, both above and below 5 minutes, by half...will that not be taken into consideration?

For the UAV I think HS wanted to give each team one or two of them so they can deploy it at their own discretion.

To reduce camping or atleast give the enemy an opportunity to see where your opponent is ive thought about *prizing 2 or 3 to the captains of each team per game and they can use them as they see fit but that's the hard limit. It wont have anything to do with camp timer rules / effects.

The way it works is it covers a pretty good size of the map and HS is working on fixing the color and duration of the enemy dot once theyre hit with it.

You should probably consider giving it to the team who's losing or something. Having a UAV when you have the lead would be a little OP. You can just continue to camp/run knowing where the enemy is.

Although it sounds cool, I think its overkill for something as simple as camping. Decrease camp timer by half and have ref reveal coords.

People are requesting a change, this is a new thing that can be introduced on top of the reduced camp timer(this will be implemented as chris suggested a few pages ago)

But yeah chris that's true as well. Will need some testing to see how OP it might be or if it increases the fighting in general.

I was talking to yosh about it and we both agreed we'd use 1 at the start to see where exactly the enemy is going to try and counter and then save the other for if we're down but that's just 2 peoples thoughts on how it could be used.

20+ I think is a bit high on the cap seeing as that's 3 battles essentially. Lets make it 15, especially if theres 3minutes left(for this scenario) that gives you the opportunity to find them real quick try and get a clean battle and shove their base with the remaining 1min and 45sec left to go for a tie or possibly claim the lead.

On top of that only if its a close game( I wouldn't agree to it if it were a rapefest ) rape lines would be dropped by the ref at the 2min mark

People voted against spec info in general, but knowing where the enemy is.. is not even the biggest issue. Literally nothing you said solves a problem aside from speccing players that aren't moving without x amount of time. But if squads really don't want to fight, you can't make them if they have the lead. They can literally hold or run from point A to point B. End of the day, you need incentive for players to move, that isn't the risk of punishment imo. Flags. edit: or ammo

Before I consider it into the rotation I want actual feedback from scrims after the new updates have been put in. Once I get a census on peoples reaction then I can make that call.

Manu season is starting right after SL draft is done, im of mind to put in the class adjustments without votes as opposed to watching people vote no because they claim to want change but actually are fine with the status quo, so with the tweaks in classes they'll be implemented and we will get feedback after people scrim on whether or not anything is broken with the changes or if theyre happy with it.

As for flags in USL vs UAV thing, HS already has the UAV in his zone so we can at least test it out there and see how it works out, while we continue to iron out which of these flag ideas people seem to be leaning towards based on this discussion thread.

Why poll when we have no idea how either one will work in a USL setting until we test out both and then place the poll, instead of having only subjective data we would also have objective data to form a basis on why we're voting the way we are thus creating a more accurate poll.

To me that would be more beneficial than just voting based on theorycrafts
