MOTW, this is pretty much preview of the championship game. Whoever wins will have bragging rights until playoffs. Ultra stacked tryhard weebs vs regular stacked idc nerds. I have had the pleasure (or curse) of playing with both of these squads in the Free Infantry era. I believe it is pretty safe to say that all the current top 10 players are on either squads at the moment. On paper, the lineup is about the same but in reality it is much different due to the level of activity and commitment to the game. The weebs are just a bit(or a lot) more thirsty about dethroning the current idc champs.
idc's core group of players are generally more passive but excels at calculated ambushes and smart pushes. They also have the luxury of having 4 of the best leaders (Leak, Manu, Fausto, and dave(lol)) in the game so there's no shortage of shot calling during crunch battles. They were able to shred some excessive weight (kaga) and inactive (tg) while gaining easoe and cc which is pretty much an upgrade anyway you look at it. My only concerns are that easoe and cc are two of the most aggressive marine/medic in the game, will this benefit or hurt idc's proven strategy during tight games? We'll have to stay tuned to find out as this will be their first (and only) big test to showcase their chemistry as a team. I would definitely aim to get an early full battle lead and hope you have south as base as it is a much better side to play on.
Ideal Line up:
Cage - The most consistent backbone of the idc core. I would say cage is the definitive idc marine that embody their spirit (avoid any mistakes and make the enemies make mistakes).
Fausto - Not very active on the weekdays, but you can count on him to show and be vocal on Sunday. If you are lucky, it might be one of those days when the old extreme(1) shows up and rack up tons of kills for you.
God - Trash talking muscle hitman. Killer mercenary for hire since 2004. He will kill you for money and embarrass you while you die a slow painful death.
Leak - Only Diamond dueler in the game, reigning league MVP. Can Leak continue his hot streak from last season and bring back to back champions to the idc promise land?
Trisance - Silent assassin, hopefully he logs on and mouse some people down.
Em4awon/Brillhart/CC/danny - I honestly don't know who idc will put in as their last marine. Em4 probably won't show, the others are about the same level and can rotate depends on who will be the primary leader.
Fairfax (med) - Fax is that boring dude that plays at a great level for 20 years, will probably compete for best med (again)
Manu (med) - Most vocal battle medic shot caller since kippa, idc is just a better team with manu on the field providing input.
Weebs have the best RAW firepower AND best chemistry in the game with Sov reign supreme with an iron fist. Whenever Sov calls out a play, these weebs almost always executives with perfection (coz they have been on each other's dick for too long). I don't know about you guys but raping the same dudes by 80 kills gets old for me after about 3 seasons but these guys continues to do it on a daily basis. This is what I call a real tryhard commitment to be the best at this shit game. They have no real weakness as all of their players can shift roles on a constant basis. If idc let weebs get their momentum on, it might be a completely one sided bloodbath.
Ideal Line up:
Champion - WoW BFA ilvl 399, fully geared in mystical armor on WoW and Infantry.
Noskeeper - Rejected my application to join weebs but took in Slob instead just to yell at him.
Sov - All around good guy until he opens his mouth (which is all the time) slurp slurp.
Sol - Battle AI calibration has been completed, I don't think I landed a single shot on this machine during our sbs this week.
Shasta - Sleeping Beauty, least active of the weebs, maybe Sov will bench him for someone more active? Sov> anything to win brah.
Demon - Solo flanking nerd, weebs have the luxury for him to do this, otherwise he'd be dead all the time)
Iron (med) - Best medic in the game. Best of the curry brothers.
Slob (med) - Brown Scapegoat #1 (gets blamed for every death)
It's going to be a real boring campy ass game unless idc gets tilted out of their minds and starts playing an aggressive style due to bloodlust.
Final score: 50-30 NWA, MVP: Slob_my_Knob (pity mvp)
