I’m just trying to say if you want a competitive league, you need to sacrifice something.

If you don’t care that the championship match is determined before a single bullet is fired, that’s fine by me.

I said something earlier to the effect of, it’s up to the weaker players to not get curb stomped. It’s a video game. Get better if you want to win.

But at the same time, if you want a competitive season, you need to accept the fact that most shitty players don’t suddenly get good.

If I only had 2 hours of free time a week I wouldn’t want to basically waste it either.

Just pointing out some cold hard facts basically.

Do you want to joke around with friends? Or do you want a close, competitive league with parity?

I’ll play either way. Doesn’t matter to me if I don’t know the people on my team. It’s one 30 minutes match every Sunday. Doesn’t matter to me if I lose every match either.

It's a misconception that the champ match is already decided before season starts, there's been plenty of seasons recently a 3rd or 4th seed makes champs

I'm all for making nader/sapper/ripper/sniper/medic/at stronger than. I like that we added a class most of us are familiar with.

I'm not 100% for making marine/lmg weaker.

Also the battle riffle i'm not a huge fan of. You dodge all 3 bullets or get hit by all 3. Seems like a ctf gun, would need to spread out the bullets or make them weaker/slower and a different second weapon or regular knife maybe long medic knife. I would like to see more changes to the classes we have and like instead of adding just a new strongest class. I'm all for spicing it up but the current 6 people "in the loop" are only making minor tweaks just to revert them back.

IMO AT was fine with longer range, AT was still weak since they are only looking to fight 5 out of every 10 seconds with the short clip/low ammo count

me and hellspawn are working on a "spec ops" class simply battle rifle with a throwing knife ftw

You all may dislike me for this but im truly considering adding a mandatory condition into registering a squad into the league for next season and its simply this.. each squad must have 1 ref on their team if they do not they will submit 3 names to me via PM and I will choose from said list.

Still up in the air about it but its being heavily considered.

Assuming there's an odd number of squads again and a bye week, that should be the answer to the reffing situation, refs on their bye week step up and ref that week's matches.

Definitely requires at least one ref per squad. One active ref of course.
