Warhawks are a very strong squad with a great core group of players like sum/fax/ and my favourite "the gift". They are coming into this season as runners up to SFo last season, although should not feel ashamed, they stepped up big time and were the only squad to have really challenged SFo and make them swear.
I hope great things to my old friends this season and I believe with a bit of luck and benching apollo (which shouldn't be hard because he benched on his own squad anyways) they stand a chance of going one further.
With Sum leading, they are always competitive, and the new additions of Mecca, Legacy and in particular Tactical they definetly have a line up that could go all the way.
My on criticism in the leading front is I would like to see WH mix it up, I feel their style although effective, against the top tier squads they need to mix it up a little bit as I believe it can be predictable.
Stand out players for me on the squad are tg and fairfax, they are the heart of the squad and they will be key to keep the group happy, motivated and working together as one unit.
Gift: 90
The Gift is really solid all round marine. He is very good one 1v1 and in 3v3 or 4v4 situations. He is someone who often goes under the radar, although in my personal view he is the strongest marine in the team. Leader of men, and if WH are going to win the champ, he is going to be a massive factor. Critism - I wanna see more confidence, shit talking, fucking bitches up, I wanna see some fist pumping and screaming on vent like FREEEEEEEDOM.
Tactical: 89
Great versatile marine who seems like a good guy. Awareness seems very good and is a very good team player who naturally will fit in very well with this group of players. His only downside is that I have heart he is a big kid, ie stay off the fatty foods and make sure you don't have a heart attack because WH need you.
Fairfax: 89
He is nearly a better medic than me, what more can I say about this guy!? I am only joking, he is a legend of the game and rightfully so, his all round game is superb and I can't fault him in the slightest. He has to stick to Sum like a fly on shit in matches, because when Sum plays well, WH don't lose. If Sum dies out early, things can go wayward.
Mecca: 84
Like any animal, when put in a corner that is when we see the true mecca. With that key awareness of popping a clutch law off and pulling something out of nothing. Is a sneaky marine that you need to wary off. In general battles he is a good support martine. Critism - I want to see stronger performances and more selfish displays in going out there and getting more kills, don't over-think situations at times, just go back to basics and kill.
Leak: 83
Leak is a great guy, one of the few people I geneuinely like in this game. His development season on season has been superb to watch and I happy to see him starting to show his true potential. On a squad like Warhawks his natural passive yet effective team work play flourishes like a 14 year old wanking to porn for the first time in a squad like WH. Critism is against the bigger squad, he has it in him to kill heavy and stand out, he has to prove it against the top squad to help WH be considered title contenders.
Warhawk: 81
I have a lot of time and respect for Sum as I see many signs of how I use to play when I was marine and lead on AD. I think he is a very capable marine and against average/weaker squads I often see him dominate. Although against the top tier squads like SFo, you need to adapt your game. Your a better marine than me, so you have luck of being able to adapt style, I had to adapt class to medic to compete. Once you start mixing it up, be more passive and cut out the unnecessary deaths, the rest will take care of itself.
Lana Del Rey: 80
He is a good medic, definetly above average. Keeps it simple and doesn't die to dumb deaths, that is really all you wish for from your medic at times. Critism - I would like see more aggression and risk taking in his play, in particular against the big squads it is easy to sit back and be the passive support medic. Against the top squads sometimes you need to take those risks to turn battle and medics can play a key feature on this by assisting with support fire and aggression.
Legacy: 79
He is a legend in his own right, his ability at his peak is up their with the top 5 of all time. I just don't rate him highly now down to inactivity and genuinely just don't believe he has the skills as he once did.
I hope he can get it back, but for now I rating him as one of the weakest marines on the squad.
Vision: 70
Very good leader at a camping/passive style, although unfortunately unproven in being able to lead a squad in an aggressive manner whilst having the better players to do so. He is an average marine, although would be better switching to medic imo as the occasions I have seen him did pretty well. He could do a job as medic for a team whilst leading and is maybe something he should look to doing more often. He can look up to idols like kippa, a guy who refers to himself in the 3rd person and is a 5x med / usl champ with the addition of leading causing the most upsets in the history of USL/SL.
In all seriousness, my critism is leading from the masters aka Khaos/Molo/Par is how I learned to adapt my leading style, not by consistency leading the same way. Don't take it personally, I believe you are a very good leader although you just need to learn to adapt your style at times.
