Also a QuikTrip opened up a couple miles from me never been to one tried their shitty gas station subs turns out they aren't shitty. Where the fuck have them been my whole life.

Was it just a steakhouse or a buffet style steakhouse? Might have been Chama Gaucha (not 100% sure if thats spelled right). I know they have a location off 1604 near 281. Will look into that for next time though.

Buffet style. they gave you the little pager to use when you wanted more food.

Shake Shack sucks. Five guys sucks.
Some overrated place here in Chicago named Au Cheval that they put on the top 10 burgers in America list but it's only ok. Takes like 2 hours to get into tho.
Not sure why burgers so hard for fools to make.

Local places are 100% where it's at IMO. Most of the burger chains aren't bad if you just want a burger, but seems like the local places take a little more liberties in finding a burger that really tastes good.

I think In N Out is a bit overrated but that's probably because I lived literally a 30 second walk from one for a while and ate it so much. Also constantly smelling it being cooked kinds of turns you off from it, probably the same if you lived next door to any restaurant.

Damn I’ve never been to Belmont Burger Ernie. I was eating a Eureka burger last night which was pretty good though.

My grandparents owned a business a couple blocks from it and it was always my favorite place to eat as kid/teen. It's been a while since I've been so hopefully it's still good.
