With the next USL season approaching fast, I think it's important that we make a real attempt to revive Player vs Player combat in Infantry again. Who wants to play vs bots every damn day?

I've been working hard getting the Royale gametype ready for Cazzo which is PvP exclusively and inspired by Fortnite/Pubg. Public 1 in Cazzo will now be set to Red vs Blue until there are 7 players or more and then will default to Royale tournaments, with Red vs Blue able to be played in between each game.

A good portion of you guys have tried it out or seen it in action so if you have and liked it ,I would love to see you guys show some support. Any negative feedback is welcome as well.

Right now all classes are allowed participate in Royale but if we can get enough USLers back playing Public 1 , I think we could definitely arrange a Skirmish classes only Royale depending on how everyone feels about the new classes. Ultimately it would be awesome to be able to run two Pubs, one with all classes and one with USL classes only.

Anyways, all this means nothing without YOUR [the person reading this] support. Get online, give it try. I guarantee you 90% will enjoy the hell out of it if you ever enjoyed manu style mixes. Get your friends and past squadmates / current squadmates online. Take a break from Fortnite/Destiny 2/PUBG/PoE and give this new gametype a fair chance.

PvP Happy Hour in Cazzo is from 9:00 PM EST to 11:00 PM EST.

I think this is the perfect time as well for USLers to log and try to get some Public 1 PvP action started in Cazzo.

I think you should put in a revive mechanism for meds so they can revive teammates on the spot during SB's. give them time to revive before the death time run's out.

Oct I do like the game mode a lot.
Was having a great time with it. A few things I wasn’t a fan of was people are able to stealth, and blink away. Seemed to bring down the game play for me a lot.
But I put up with those the only real deal breaker for me to instantly spec was someone shooting through walls, that made me f12 on the spot.

Well we did have a broken weapon during the last session which was the cloaked red stunner thing, that was not suppose to hit players and made the cloaked class a bit dumb.

Regarding maser shooting through walls, it needs more gameplay to rule out if its a terrible idea for SK or not. It's not very strong and pretty hard to hit with atm. There will always be things people don't like, especially the core only SK players, but having these types of classes opens the zone up to a much wider variety of players. Retaining any new players that may join our discord or try out the game is very important to me. And having things like the SciOps with Maser from Eol may have been that person's flavor of choice 10 years ago and will keep them hooked now.

On a related note, I've been leaning more and more towards splitting the royale gametype up. I think a 2 team only with SK classes only and having "Best out of 5" type tournaments could be very fun - i.e. teams don't scramble until a winner happens. It would be extremely similar to the events you would host. I really need to see how much interest and how many USL players we could draw back with this gametype before closing off the new classes to it.

Then of course we would have our any class goes, random team size through formulas secondary royale gametype.
