Pandy had more of an impact when it came to him showing up for his squad. I mean playing for a stacked squad that just rolls over everyone without any real strategic creativity every season doesn't make a good case for this award. Pandy played alongside significantly weaker players and was still able to give them an edge and victories in multiple upsets. Easoe performed how anyone would expect him to, no surprises nothing impressive just the same old same old.

I don't think playing for stacked squads is a proving ground for these awards, pandy stood out like a sore thumb during the regular season regardless of his playoff performance, his leadership and consistency during the regular season was enough that everyone voted for him. And personally he was deserving of it, hands down was the best marine during the regular season.

So the reason I voted for Pandy/BB respectively was in large part due to how well WA performed this season. This isn't meant as a dig at them, but I don't think many people outside of WA had them going 4-1, with their 1 loss being a close loss.

friend was predicted to win by some on the other hand, especially after Champ joined. It unfortunately happens sometimes. Players or teams get punished by their continued success.

friend had a great season. FWIW EASOE and Rob were my runner ups. I didn't really have a runner up for MVP though. BB got a lot of credit rightfully so imo for taking WA to 4-1 and the #2 seed.

I'm glad there's this much thought being given into awards now. I tried to do this as an advisor and it worked for a few seasons and then people went back away from it.

Nice to see competition is being weighed and stats in important matches are paramount.

Playoff games were very close. If you think we play with no tactics and just roll over people during these games you're very wrong. A lot of players can't keep up with Sovs/Champs/Easoe/Hercs call out and movements mid fight.

Finals we were within a battle the whole game til the very end was a nice game of cat & mouse

Its a very stale game to watch your team play, nothing special about pulling people into poor positions after your stacked line up opens up a battle.

We don't control how people play against us, I don't blame teams for playing defensive against my squad it's probably the best possible way to play us. But we aren't 100% responsible for your interpertation of "stale gameplay" we usually try to push people into bad spots. That's kind of how the game is played.

Again these playoff games were very close, so apparently our stack wasn't very effective, did you watch any of our playoff games this season?

Probably the closest 3 playoff games I've seen since being back.

There's been a few other close ones for sure, but both Semis and the Finals were pretty close imo. PC had a chance to win with like 1.5 minutes left. SN controlled their semi final match most of the way but WA got back into it.

stale game play can be attributed to a lot of things. But when your teammates can simply out skill your opponents how much leading is really necessary. Would be nice to see a mix of good and bad on squads and see how leading changes the gameplay if at all.

I know draft leagues will never work, and that there's just no incentive for people to play with anyone but their friends. Totally understandable. But I mean it was a little ridiculous to see champion leave his squad after making quite an impact for his first squad, it was nice to see that and the game was interesting and exciting, something different than the last few seasons. Unfortunately it didn't last and we found the same gang of players take the crown yet again. Kaga joined last minute, rob gets benched but somehow should have won the medic award according to his teammates.

Its just the same shit every season. I just don't think people have the interest or time to put forth the effort it would take to win against your group. Something might spark an interest if some of those players broke away from their friends for a season, but again most people only login to play with their friends anyways.

Slob was having a hell of a time in those playoff games! He is now the undisputed record holder of dying first in 3 straight championship games.
