It's basically aggregate scoring to an extent. This should be an easy concept to understand. Instead of "goals for" and "goals against", you have "wins for" and "wins against".

Thats why its, whomever reaches first 2 wins goes to champs. So if 1 squad gets to 2 wins first they would still play the other 2 squads, but they have a guarantee in champs.
