The clip size was increased previously and now its reload has been reduced. It needed to be brought down by at least 1.
According to who? Is there a group of people here that are assisting you with consistent feed back Or are changes just being implemented on the fly to see what works? I didn’t see much talk on this thread about lmg damage being an issue. I’m just curious if there is valid input from people before changes continue to be made.

I think one stem pack is good- two was overkill tonight.

There were times when rpg should have killed someone but for some reason it would go through them or miss them when it should have hit.

Should reduce throwing knife by a few Hp.

From watching and playing in all of the SB's over the last week and a half.

The LMG change is a buff overall. You'll be shooting more bullets... Less time reloading more time shooting means you need to adjust the damage slightly.

I didn't notice any RPG's going through anyone but I will keep an eye out for it.

I think the delay between throwing knives is a better fix than damage nerf.

When it comes to changes that are impacting the entire league- it would be best to allow input from select individuals maybe two per squad or what not. Everyone has different experiences and using personal experiences leaves room for error. Are changes being made because the players of the league are requesting them or just because you think tweaking needs to be done? Sov mentioned prior- he and Eric made changes to LMG that’s two individuals from the same squad.

In discussing it with people in my squad and out this evening ( 4 sbs today) and a few over the last couple of days- a lot of the changes are not being requested and are just being implemented.

I’m all for being a person you can count on for feedback if needed, btw.

Yes, changes are talked about all the time on the forums and in game. I’m finally acting on them the way they should have been before. It’s still brand new. Give it time to settle.

If it's fine with mosh it's fine with me.

and my squad name says hentai watchers instead of Justice for Miki Chan, is this a bug?

If you’d like we could go back to the old way of doing things. Where we would talk about making changes and never implement them. Or try testing one tiny class change over the course of a 3 season discussion about it, only for it to get scrapped after a few days.

This was two seasons ago when eric was admin and was attempting to make changes. No one offered any suggestions and wanted zero changes. The only reason LMG got in was because he didn't make it a poll suggestion. This is what I believe would help

I was the one who took initiative and requested octavian to make changes to make apollo's map more balanced. Not sure why people think it's like some nit pick secret council making decisions. I gave input on better AT changes and didn't get it in.

I actually like the fact that changes are being implemented. This is one of the reasons I was ok with you being admin- you have the time and dedication to implement and manage.I just think it’s better for the league for there to be input from various sources not just personal experience and/or from just one squad. Examples being- captains and co capts of the squads on let’s say a separate discord- or individuals that actually volunteer to provide feedback.

I’ve been working on these class changes with King who, for the better part of 14 years did not get along with me at all.

I’ve taken suggestions and ideas from people like Ernie and BB who I never play with. Hell, I’ve even used suggestions from Octavian.

Do you think I’m just pulling these changes out of my ass? I haven’t used a single bit of input from anyone on Miiki Chan. And I know that’s what you’re trying to imply.

Don’t make this into an argument. This is moreso a discussion last I checked. I mentioned same squad earlier seeing as how sov mentioned himself and Eric- and they are on same squad. Luckily, sov has clarified his initial post with a follow up. Which i do appreciate.

I know king has assisted on class changes as he messaged me this evening asking me what I thought. I get input from players sporadically while in game- for whatever reason some people decide to pm me and give feedback. This time I am bringing it up to your attention as you are the one leading the current league and the continued changes. I still think it’s beneficial to have input from every squad and/or players that are trying to better the league by providing valuable input on changes that affect the league. Preferably those that volunteer and are not voluntold. I have already volunteered if needed.

This is the only way we’ll get the change that the community has been beating around the bush for over the last 20 seasons.

I offered you an explanation as to why I think LMG should get that buff. Did you have more to discuss on that topic? I'd like to hear it.

tbh out of all the changes the only thing I didn't like was medics having 85hp + 2 stim packs, chris consolidated by still giving them 85hp but 1 stimpack. We'll see if its still too op though.

Keep doing you chris, last time I was admin I didn't keep the changes I made cause of too many people bitching about how it impacted pub play instead of actually testing it out.

solid work chris + king. Also king stop spamming people with PM's dammit about testing it during an sb the way you want it to be tested, lemme run around trying to point blank demo someone ya cuck

Wont pb demo anyways due to trigger delay gg 60-0. Next time just throw it down for me!

The LMG reload was put in silently last night to see if anyone noticed. Kaga was going ape in firing with it and didnt notice, but 1 second can make a difference.

Im not an expert like Mizz or HS, but I did do the events in USL during Ramza's era and the #1 goal was balance. Champ and I have been working on these honestly for about 4-5hrs a day every day this week while both of us are at work lol, and thats without any testing capabilities till night time. There is so much back and forth from us on the smallest % or value changes that it all includes butterfly effects.

Believe me when I say that the amount of discussion between us make it feel like a 5 man operation the amount of angles we include.

Discussions on forums take way too long and we beat around the bush for multiple seasons and then "we'll vote on it for next season" making changes on the fly with in game input has way more validity

Actually the LMG reload/clip size change has been in for about 3 days. I just never announced it to see if people would notice. Reducing the damage of the bullet by 1 was after getting a few days of data to see it in action.

The only values that people read are damage values while ignoring the utility and flexibility that a reload reduction and clip size increase gives the class.

Since we need some feedback that others can link it to a source document(/s):

Medics no buff. With total support classes restricted to 3 max and a squad can only play 1 maximum support class in a 8v8, are meds really in danger of dying to up front damage?

A lot of these classes are tentative and may be changed. My desire to run nader is prob gone with the mortar going down to 1. Realistically, I can see 4 marines/2 meds/1 LMG/1 additional sup. That's an optimistic outlook. Don't think meds really need these buffs when you have to face the likely scenario that we are running the exact same composition except meds receive a compensation buff for classes that may likely not get playing time that affect meds survivability. If anything, sniper prob had the largest impact against meds and that class is likely not going to be touched at all. Nader would result in the same impact as before except the damage is now reasonable after bouncing. RPG is a medium range weapon and has more counter play than any classes that has more consistent damage and faster velocity while the user can both move and shoot. Not sure where the impending danger for meds are with these support classes in play?

AT should be looked at again. Current AT is a niche role that will excel in only one scenario, flanking. That's actually a bad thing when the intended changes are looking to increase their viability in USL. The new AT isn't exactly better at flanking since it's range has been reduced significantly.

Tldr; suppose to make supports op so we buffed meds to make supports worse but we nerfed supports again wut?

The medic changes were a trial to see how much of an impact it makes. I do agree that they were probably unnecessary after seeing it in action last night. I think a better idea than buffing their defense is to just give them more combat capabilities to increase the pace of battles.

Demo and Nader feel like they are in a good place overall. Mortar felt much better damage wise. Our original intent was to make it 3 on initial spawn and only 1 after every death. For some reason this isn't possible in the editors or we're just really dumb. Perhaps 2 could work but I'm still apprehensive.

Ripper and Sniper still probably need a little love, but at this point I'm not sure what else can be done.

AT has always been a topic of debate. The class itself is designed to be up front CQC. The weapon they have in their inventory is a pistol. It is not designed to go very far at all. It's meant to do much more damage close to medium range. Back when AT was first introduced it was even shorter than it is right now.

I think giving them more mobility with the speed bump and a dash helps them to get into CQC quicker. Prior to this ATs would just sit back and spam AP from the same distance as Marines and LMG who have Rifles and Machine Guns that are actually designed for long range. That just doesn't fit the theme of the class. The role of an AT is to be your front line play maker and break open battles. With more HP, speed, and a dash this is much more possible than it was previously.

Just make sure not to rush nader in close up combat coz you will melt vs red sg...why? Coz nader counter AT. meta baby!!!! Oof

Very helpful feedback. Thanks!

I already said that the red SG is being lowered.
