Hi, I was trying to get an understanding on if people would be interested in a buy-in tournament where the winners could be compensated for playing and funds to be used for server expenses. This could be potentially done for 3v3s or 2v2's. Please tell me your thoughts & thanks.

I'm 100% down for 100$ per squad with stack limits in place. Back to square one with how to figure that out.

Actually --- that could be quickly resolved with a draft league. Let's say 3-4 weeks out, selection of 6-8 captains with a snake-style draft in 2 weeks. Double elimination to allow players to shake off the rust.

An annual or bi-annual tournament with $$ on the line could be pretty fun.

Poll for participants, 2 weeks 'til draft. Any additional names are added to a draft page, which captains can reference on draft day. Any joining after draft day are added on a sub basis or something.

Guess a few additional points been made, should we allow teams and if so how would that be fair in our current climate. I actually like Dave's idea of a draft league with a selected amount of captains proposed and players picked individually from a pool.
But than that brings an additional question..why would anyone want to play with people they may not want to play with?? With a 2v2 or 3v3 I believe that there are higher odds for less skilled players to win than vs a great team, thus allowing you to choose your own team. I'll see if Champion could have a poll setup.

Yea cause during Sony I had nothing but stacked squads...Go smoke another you absolute moron, it has rotted your brain. During Sony I had nothing but talent no one wanted that I found and tried to teach them the game and how to play properly but alas I was my own worst enemy during that time period.

Let's look at that stacked squad I had when I won MVP and how we were underdogs in every match we played yet still were one of the better squads in the league. The only stacked squad I have ever put together would be two seasons ago when we lost in the champ game.

In this time of infantry competent players don't want to play with handicapped retards who are going to fuck up the game. So you can call it stacked all you want but the bottom line is shitters aren't going to play with competent players that is it bottom line.
