Hello Everyone,
The following changes will be implemented on the following classes going into Season 53. After much consideration and gaining valuable insight and feedback- these are what we feel are much needed changes to our ever expanding league. I know these changes will not make everyone happy, but just know that the staff took the necessary precautions to ensure we implemented changes that were vocalized by various groups of our community. I hope you all see the value in the direction we are wanting to take our thriving league; your feedback is always welcomed and warranted.
Please see class changes for Season 53 below:
Assault Trooper: 10% Reduction in Auto Pistol Range; Removal of 1 incendiary and 1 frag grenade. This will leave the class with 2/2 of each grenade. Law remains intact as well as dash.
Medic: Biodart graphic will be reverted back to prior iteration and proximity radius will be set at 10. Last season it was set to 8 and during this offseason it was 12; so this is a happy medium. Biodart ammo capacity to be set to 20. (Please remember that biodarts are dropped during a medic's death).
LMG: Reduce incendiary grenade by 1 and reduce frag grenade by 1.
Classes not in Season 53:
Sniper: Will stay out of USL for Season 53. The votes were nearly identical on both sides; there were quite a bit of neutrals as well. Hopefully we can discuss this further for Season 54; as I believe it can be a viable class in the future if tuned correctly.
LMG27: Will be in discussion for Season 54 as well- I am hopeful we can come to a mutual understanding of this variant and potentially utilize it in the future.
