Worms vs Cobra Kai
Worms vs CK
Worms has recovered nicely after they choked in the game vs BT, and are looking to prove that they can win clutch games. CK has been dismembering the league since week 2, amazing what happens when a few friends play together.
CK:
Friend - The soul of CK - leading when kippas not there, recruiting people that no one else wanted and turning them into fantasy stars (BFN/Dino/Jake/Fresh). Basically a co-leader calling out actions once in the battle (kippa doesn't micromanage well).
Champion - Huge pickup in a lot of ways, without him we probably wouldn't be as dominant and we probably wouldn't be able to show 8 every week.
E - Word is that baby e will be making his return to USL after touring the country and crashing on infantry players couches. E is still a top tier marine in the league, and CK is infinitely more deadly when he's in the game.
Colossal - Would probably end this season as deadliest marine if he didn't miss a few stat pads, still a great marine and is pivotal in actual games with his shot calling.
angeL - same with jeff, he'd be in contention for deadliest marine if he didn't miss a game this season, doesn't even talk when kippa leads and it seems to work. When he can focus on just playing he's still a very very good player, and not enough people recognize that.
Sol/Storm/Devil - what a nice luxury to have to be able to just pick out of these amazing marines to play in the 6th marine spot, none of them are super active, it depends on who shows up really.
Kippa - Returning to leading after flogging fat girls in Berlin, still one of the best leaders in the game. When he plays focused and calculated and not like a pussy, can beat any squad.
Sov - Still the best medic in the game, if he played the entire season he'd win best medic every year.
Worms:
Tactical - tip o' the hat m'lady - the fedora fiend, Ernie is finally coming back around to be the dominating ernie he was when he was playing with me. Seems to have the chemistry down with the baby snakes enough now that he can take over games at a more consistent basis.
Legacy - Leader of worms and probably their 2nd best marine behind ernie. I'm really impressed with his leadership ability this season as he has worms set up for another playoff birth. Needs to work on quieting the crowd in late game situations where the pressure is on.
tg - Having another solid season, but will choke in the champ game if they get there - the curse is real.
SM - SM is not nearly the marine he used to be but when he's on his game, he can still hold his own, seems to be more of a holding and duel it out marine at this point in his career, but is still better than most in the league.
Bmei - Despite my efforts to convince him to join blnt, he stayed wtih worms and had a mediocre season, i wish his marine screamed as loud as he does on mumble.
Khalessi - the converted marine, staley's stats don't look the greatest but he also doesnt play stat pads, a strong marine who can hold almost any choke and is vastly underrated.
Slob - Fucked around and won a med award, at this point slob should win the med award, stavudine is right on his tails... but the numbers support slob, even in fantasy.
Bronco - the lost brother of slob plays most weeks, and when he does he's almost impossible to kill (hacks??).
Prediction:
CK 34-28
CK will get the early lead and they'll trade battles throughought the game, worms will fall into a trap in the final third of the game and ck will get a healthy lead of 15-20 kills, worms will make a final push and make the game look a lot closer than it actually was.
