Breakdown

This feels familiar. A squad ran by Palm is on the cusp of the playoffs with 1 important match to decide their fate. And a more surprising turn of events has led Fear fighting for their playoff spot as well. This season has not gone as planned for them. If Fear wins this match and they win against Miracle they are guaranteed a playoff spot. If Road House loses and still beats Warhawks in week 5 they will not win the tie breaker. Basically, Fear HAS to win this match no matter what. Who will take it? Let's find out.
Road House (1-2)
After a pretty lopsided defeat against Rejects last week Road House will have to put that in the rear view and focus on keeping Swayze's legacy alive. You would think that taking on some championship caliber players would have given them the boost they needed. Unfortunately there's just something missing and I can't really find any sense of cohesion when I watch them play. In the first week they had their (arguably) best player, em4awon go 3-7. In the second week Killer put up good numbers against Miracle but then decided to completely shut off against Rejects. I thought for sure Road House would have been the favorite to take the last playoff spot when DeviL joined but his performance wasn't anywhere near his capability.
I'm not entirely sure who leads for Road House but I think they need to have a little more battle awareness. There were too many times when they were caught with their pants down and didn't know how to react to the positions they were put in. They just didn't look comfortable fighting in most of the battles they were in. If the leading can't be fixed then you really need your top players to step up and break open these battles. That's what it's really going to come down to for Road House.
Projected Lineup
DeviL (Mar)
em4awon (Mar)
Kay Double-U (Mar)

Universal Soldier 2k/SE (Mar)
manu (Med)

Fear (0-3)
I don't think anyone saw Fear being in this position before the season started. They made great use of the salary system to give them a good spread of talent. With the addition of kippa before the roster lock, they were probably the safer bets for the playoff spot. Last week they faced off against Overwatch but didn't have Colossal or Mecca which was a big hit. I believe kippa led for them and just wanted to do full on pushes as one group. I think with the lineup he had that was a mistake. I think this strategy will work once Colossal and Mecca rejoin the lineup in this match. They just need to forget the first 3 weeks happened and focus on the last 2. Their positioning and awareness has just been so off. Like Road House, they just have awkward battles where they just don't seem to click together. I believe things will be better for them when kippa, Colossal and Mecca are all playing in the same game. Just keep the yelling to a minimum.
Fear's keys to winning this game will come down to leadership. They have more capable leaders than Road House does so they need to use this to their advantage. Do not over extend and give up easy kills. Be aware of your surroundings and try to play closer together. This should be Fear's first win and their ticket into the playoffs.
Projected Lineup
Brillhart (Mar)
Colossal (Mar)
danny (Mar)

Wolf (Mar)
dp/Treacherous/Doctor.Nickk (Mar)
Havok (Med)
kippa (Med)

Final Thoughts & Score
I believe Fear will finally wake up and walk away with a win. Road House is weak in the leading department and their marines are not showing up. As long as Fear can lead this match properly and Colossal, Mecca and kippa are all there then I think they will do just fine.
37-25 Fear (MVP: Colossal)
