On paper they have stronger players at each position and have (mostly) been playing under the same leadership longer. Fax gives Rejects the top tier medic that I think they lacked last season and could possibly push them over the edge to a championship. I don't think the loss of dave/Sol is going to effect them much as ER comes in as a solid replacement.

BAD HOMBRES
Bad Hombres is an interesting new squad that looks like the best parts of PGH marines(Killer,Kev,albert), with the additional firepower of Mecca, Brillhart, and Apollo. They have a plethora of lineups to choose from Sunday, and dp(or whoever calls the shots) will have some interesting decisions to make when they choose their starting lineup.
Projected Lineup:
1. Killer
2. Kevin
3. Mecca
4. Albert
5. Brillheart(higly contested starter spot, but Brillheart wins over Apollo and Mizz by a hair)
6. dp(med)
7. Zack/Stavudine(med)
If 8: Apollo/Mizz(higly contested spot as well, Mizz was on fire at the end of last season)
Prediction:
I'd put Rejects as 60/40 favorite going into this match if played on Apollos Map or EC. If KR gets picked, I think BH has a slightly better chance in this one, but are still an underdog. Albert fucking loves that map, and I don't think it suits Rejects style.
Regardless of map, I see the game starting slowly with Hombres playing a more passive style, hoping to catch Rejects in some bad choke for an early law kill. I don't see Leak falling for it, and Rejects will slowly overwhelm one side of BH's hold with superior aim over a couple long sustained battles.
Score at 15:00 mins remaining: 24-15 Rejects
After about 15-20 mins of slow play, BH will be forced to play more aggressive but that will only lead to more deaths and extend the lead for Rejects. If subs are made the score could be closer, but I don't see Hombres having the firepower to put down the likes of nasty noskeeper with Fax by his side.
Final Score: Rejects 44-29, MVP: Fairfax
