I don't think it's right to postpone a week, the week of champs.. on a non holiday weekend. Half the people who said they wanted to are on non playoff squads lol.

Let me play devil's advocate by saying wouldn't most people have to work the following Monday, though? So it could be assumed they would not plan on "celebrating" too much that Sunday night anyways?

doesn't like every job give that Monday off because the 4th falls on a Tuesday? I know mine does. because of that I'll be gone from Saturday and getting back home Tuesday morning.
