How about no NTs allowed ever. No time period for joining a squad, 8 day time period for leaving a squad.

Or if a squad needs NTs, they are allowed to after 5 minutes. Therefor penalizing them for not showing enough players. -- I would only add this one in, if there was no time period for joining a squad.

If you disagree with that, I would be interested in hearing the negatives as to why.

I agree with the first bit of this. No NT's allowed ever. The population the past couple seasons has proven to be active enough to justify raising the roster cap multiple times, NT's are not needed and are being abused in ridiculous ways.

I would argue that the 8 day waiting period always be enforced, including for joining a squad the first time. This helps to push players to make a decision in a timely manner before the first match of the season, giving captains more stability in that they will have more time to SB/practice/talk as a squad the quicker the squad is filled. Encouraging players to join is good for the captains and for the squads.

It also allows a bit of a buffer for shenanagins, you'll know if stackedplayer X joins a low tier squad 8 days before they can impact the outcome of the game, discouraging situations where a captain is blindsided by a massive roster change minutes before a match that they've already prepared for.

I don't think adding in an arbitrary 5 minute benching is the best solution. That's just a one battle power play, not much of a deterrant really. It can influence the flow of the game, sure, but I don't think it'd be enough to deter the players determined to bend rules and influence the outcome of matches in troll-like fashion, as was rampant in season 13, and completely unregulated.

8 days ineligibility wouldnt matter if people didnt recruit squad hoppers and pathetic captains didnt need loaner players.

My only issue is that if an inactive squad can barely show enough one week, makes some changes and recruits some players, a squad can hypothetically say no nt's. I rather just have a wait period for leaving a squad, because the whole reasoning was to prevent squad hopping.

How about once you leave the squad, you can't hop back to it.

I see nothing wrong with keeping NTs and re-writing the rules in a way that they can't be abused.

There have been plenty of times in the past few seasons where players like gambler or VC who hardly squad join have helped out other squads.

Unlimited amount of support classes... This is a no brainer. Stop hindering lower squads.

Id like to work off the idea I had earlier this season about the maps. Would be great to have more maps/sides forced.

7.3 CAMPING: A squad cannot camp in one sector (H2), or move from one sector back to the one they were just in (H2 ? H1 ? H2) for more than 2 minutes. If there is less than 5 minutes remaining in the match, they cannot camp for more than 1 minute. Captains will be notified when a camping squad must move. If a squad does camp more than the allowed time and ignores the Referee, their location will be revealed to the opposing team and will lose a player slot for 10 minutes. Skip leaders and medics first. For every additional 2 minutes that the squad camps, they will lose an additional player. If the game time is under 5 minutes left, they will lose an additional player each additional minute that the squad camps.

3.5 Non-Team Players are allowed by default. For Playoffs, allowing NT players must be agreed upon by both squad Captains.

Is this necessary? Only time that happened that i remember was Season 8 Championship video where CC was subbed in and out as NT lol.
