For the remainder of the season and possibly next season I will be taking over dp's role. His current real life schedule does not allow him to be active enough in-game to contribute. I will be leaving my squad to remain impartial in all decisions and rulings.

With that said, I would like to encourage some more referees to apply and help out the league even if you're only able to ref a game here and there. With how strapped we are, any help is appreciated. Apollo has made a post in the recruitment forum stating there will be some end of season incentives, although I'm not sure what that entails. You could ask him for more info on that. What this also means is that until we find some help I will try and cover as many games as possible.

Moving on to some clarifications. The new map rule that was instated for this season will continue to be used. If you're unsure of what this rule is then I will simplify it: Home team can choose to pick the map or defer as before, but when that map is chosen it is removed from the rotation of maps you can choose until you've gone through each map once. Once you've gone through each map you can then start over. If you defer the map choice and the away team picks a map then it must be from the remaining map choices of the home team. This means that the home team will pick the side from that map and the map choice will be removed from the home team's choices. The 4 available maps are KR, EC, Apollo's, Bomb's.

Going forward, <b>all matches will begin at the scheduled match time, not a minute later</b>. Squads can still use a 10 minute delay if they do not have enough members online. If you meet the minimum required members to begin a match then the match is starting regardless. Captains must be in the captain's chat and ready with their lineups before the scheduled match time. If you are still unclear of some of the new rule changes/additions for this season please refer to the rules page on the left menu and familiarize yourself.

Lastly, the match for Apocalypse and Out of nowhere will be replayed. If they cannot come to an agreement for a weekday match then the match will be force scheduled for a time this Sunday that does not interfere with the matches that are already scheduled. This means 8:45 or 11:30. It will be decided by Thursday at 11PM EST.

One more thing: Roster lock is set for this Sunday at 8PM EST. If idc and Allegiance fill out their rosters then the cap will be raised by 1 or 2 AFTER the roster lock.

It's unfortunate how the match turned out for both squads. Both squads were hosed in a sense.

If OON cannot do a weekday match, then the only middle ground is to play the match on a Sunday when most of the population is online.

As OON has 12 online every night but the boxing champion/former transvestite sinnage was butt hurt

There's only 3 home games for every team. You can't go through the rotation once in a 7 week period with 7 squads.

You have to do it like 14 week period if you want to go through the rotation but only 3 maps are going to be picked / deferred. Of course Home team will still have advantage cause they will decide, not that make much a difference when they battle out higher tier squad vs lower tier squad.

I'm just stating out what I'm saying. So I take all opinions, positive and negative.
