I think you have to take Ayton. Looking at a 20-10 all star center if he can stay healthy. Never a guarantee with 7 footers.

Only argument for taking Doncic is if you think you have a legit shot at the West by going small. Ayton will be exposed by GSW in the playoffs. But at the same time, maybe he can create his own matchup problems. Suns hiring his former coach makes things interesting too.

I'm hoping the Hawks don't waste their pick yet again. We better take Ayton, Luca, or Bagley in other words.

The thing is, look at the 4 teams left in the playoffs. Which of those teams is based around a back to the basket big guy? 0. And which are based around playmaking wings who like to play fast paced? 4

Booker, Warren, and Jackson are going to be the wings.

I won't knock Phoenix if they take Luca. He could be better than all 3 of those guys down the road. I don't personally see a franchise player myself. A solid all star though.

Bagley was real good offensively but he showed a complete lack of defense in his 1 year at Duke. I think Ayton will be better overall if we're factoring in defense. Too bad there's no superstar point guard prospect in the running since that might be the best option w/ what the Suns already have. #1 too high for Young/Sexton.

Could trade down and package chandler in it but i doubt that'd happen.

I just don't think a back to the basket C is worth a #1 overall pick, it would slow down their offense and really hamper booker/warren's pace and shooting. And again there's no centers that are carrying their teams to the playoffs without shooting 3s like horford/gasol/kat

Ya, MPJ just has no tape beyond high school. His couple of Missouri games don't mean anything considering what was going on. The hype around him coming out of high school was so real though, I'd probably take him after Ayton, Doncic, and Bagley.

And I think the player Bagley reminds me the most of is actually Amar'e Stoudemire. So it would be interesting if Phoenix took him #1. A very capable offensive 4, but weak defender, who ends up playing 5 probably in some small ball situations.

I have no interest in Bamba and JJJ. Bridges is kind of...I dunno. I'll take him at like 10th, but not top 5. Young is kind of a gamble. He might be a stud. But I saw a lot of holes in his game at Oklahoma.

I need to look into Sexton some more. Didn't get to see him much.

I think it'd be silly to pass up JJJ or Bridges if they're there at 5, I mean I wouldn't mind seeing porter going to the mavs (they're my 2nd team since their coach is from my hometown), i just dont know if they'll justify it. Especially considering how obsessed with bigs they are.
