With all the recent security breaches on popular websites I figured it was time to update the encryption and hashing algorithms used on this one. I have updated the encryption method used for password hashing from an older one to a more up to date and secure one. I have forced every user's session to be logged out so that they can enter their password again and upon login your password will be automatically encrypted with the new method.

After one week, anyone who has not logged into the website will have their password's reset and you will need to use the Forgot Password link on the login page to get a new one. Which means you must have a valid email attached to your account. I <i>highly</i> suggest that you update your email addresses to a valid one so you can always recover your password.

Yea there is no https certificate but all encryption is done server side for passwords and emails. I figured it wasn't worth getting a certificate for a small community website like this since there really isn't much sensitive information.
