Sapper should have been given laws to spawn with 30 seasons ago, not sure why they still don't.

Random spawning ammo in different corners of the map and don’t allow players to drop ammo when they die. Would force squads to move if they have a lead. Or ammo drop at central uncampable location

So then people would rather run away to another location for ammo instead of kill for it. I like the idea of rewarding for getting kills not for exploring

Camping isn’t always a bad thing, it let’s mid tier and lower tier squads compete. Having ammo spawn random places and forcing squads to move out of position makes movement even more predictable and can lead to even larger gaps in score.

If that was actually the case i'd agree, it's the top squads camping vs other top squads which frustrate/bores a lot of players and makes the game seem cheap and they're less likely to play as many matches if they know that'll be the outcome.

Top squads camping is never going to change, I feel like those leaders will always figure out a way how to do it.
The easiest way to solve competition is obviously some sort of salary or draft league, but then that creates another problem where people will leave the game if they don't get to play with the people they want to.
I think our goal shouldn't concentrate on how to solve the top tier end of the game, but to help the lower tiers. This ammo thing might solve some issues with top level game play but think about lower squads get smashed even harder.
I think an OP class is fine if its limited to 1, or limited to only be used by lower tier squads to even up the odds a bit. But then who decides who lower tier squads are?
I don't usually part take in these conversations because everyones solutuion is to try and get rid of stacked squads but thats obviously not happening. Even people who complain the loudest about stacking are stacking (lmao).
So maybe we should concentrate on developing a sort of hadicap for lower squads so they can atleast compete with mid tier. Obviously the skill gap will be to large for lower squads to compete with the top but having those mid vs low matches be close is very fun to watch imo.

I mean, your best hope for helping out the bottom tier squads is definitely some kind of dividing up of the talent.
And the best way to do that is players voluntarily going "I want a challenge" which would hopefully result in things like 6 players from NWA joining 6 players from USL Hotline and 6 players from idc joining 6 players from Pumping Iron
So on and so forth
It's not popular. I would not force it. But so many threads devolve into competition and camping and what not. So it's definitely something people need to consider more and more.

It only works if everyone cares about competition all the way through the league. Most of us don't care at all about that (esp people in the top 3/4 squads)

It will change if we do something about it. Back in the day I was the only one that really camped and I was hated on for years for it. Now it’s the norm, I find it hilarious I’m the one trying to think of solutions to end it. Camping isn’t an issue when the weakest squad plays a good squad because they are not long drawn out stalemates. Nobody finds that fun aside from maybe your old squad. Leaders will not change because there is zero incentive to push when you’re behind. If this was a high stakes league with thousands of dollars on the line it would be extremely dull and boring to watch, play and spectate.
In my opinion we should treat the league as if it was professional with high stakes online, what incentive could we give for people to move? How can we prevent camping without rewriting the rules for a 100th time? How can we make the game more action packed and enjoyable to watch?
I’m all for camping and setting up plays and ambushing, but doing that should have its drawbacks, like if you wanna do that.. you don’t get the luxury of having as much ammo. As the team moving around trying to fight.

it would be interesting to try and figure out a way to shrink the map for every X minutes that no kills happen to squeeze the two squads into each other and force a battle. idk how that could be accomplished. maybe make barricades spawn or something? idk
