I never said that because "you've apparently never devved before" Your opinion was null, I stated that because you refuse to use the changes in a scrim and restricted setting that you have a firm grasp of how the damage is and how "OP" it is in a closer skilled match up.

This is going on night 3 of the setting in a <b>test zone</b> And only 2 squads have been sbing with the changes and there have already been multiple adjustments, that's how quick HS has been on top of changing things based on feedback. It would be beneficial if you and your squad actually tried it out and gave input instead of boycotting a test zone(lulz) So that we can get more accurate and a variety of input aside from just weebs/ hellspawn and mean girls.

At this point, you know people are going to be stubborn regardless if they scrim on it or not, so to not count their vote based on that potentially giving them something they clearly don't want isn't going to do anything but hurt the league. The fact that some people can see the changes and have no desire to play with them (I'm not talking about myself, but quite a few number of people) and choose to play with the original settings should speak words to you.

With the logic you provided last night, if everyone in the league aside from two squads voted against it without scrimming on it, you would essentially discredit their votes and force the majority to play on something they never wanted to touch in the first place.

They either want to play with the new settings or they want to play with the original ones, it shouldn't matter if they test it or not.

That being said, testing is a key part of the development of the game and I would personally appreciate testing from everyone, but if you're not interested in it that should be perfectly fine.

Trust me I agree I have no problem just keeping things the same. That's why everything is only in the test zone.

But those that want some form of change should be encouraged to try the new settings. Im not going to discredit anyones vote that was poor wording in game on my part.

As for matters aside from settings lets discuss the map rotation / coinflip. Do we want to revert to home choosing map or deferring for side choice. Or keep it like it was last season, or change it from the coinflip to duel for sides best of 1 s2s same person is not allowed to duel for the remainder of the season.

Yes it is, because that's exactly how its going to be used against squads that have a huge skill gap.
I am not boycotting the zone, I go where my squad goes when it's time to SB. I am all for testing changes and I can also tell when a class is too overpowered by watching it BECAUSE I think about all squads/players and how it can be used. I never said take that class out, never said anything about the damage either. I simply said reduce either the bounce or the range on it from watching how nos used it. Hellspawn already said he modified it even more since last night so I haven't tested it since. I think you forget I did dev on SOE as well alongside Minac the god of assets.

As for map rotation, I'd keep it the same as last season.. dueling might take too long since it can be unpredictable causing scheduled matches to go off schedule. I don't even know if Champion can set that up anyways because of how the database here processes the stats.

Dueling doesn't seem like the best idea to me for determining sides during regular season.

Are we just rolling with the 4 maps this season?

Maybe figure out how many squads there is going to be. If we end up with 7 again, meaning potentially 6 unique matches, maybe we can do the following:

Lose 1 map, maybe KR?

Each team gets 1 home and 1 away on the 3 remaining maps.

Keep it simple? I know some people might complain in the closer matches that they didn't get to pick the better side...but stuff like that's gonna happen regardless.

Or maybe, have we ruled out a "double" season already? If 7 squads, 6 unique matches, play everyone twice, get home/away vs everyone.

I'll see the new changes with nader. Still want the bounces otherwise you can scrap nader since it's back to being in the gutter. I don't see how these new changes to nader make it easier to camp when the damage itself does 50. Nader will still feel horrible in the open, not sure why it shouldn't be more terrorizing in it's hot spot. If you really are scared of camping, you can literally select hot spots in certain maps and increase camp timer to 1 minute. Example: In EC if you are hiding in rocks or mid while not in combat for 1minute, refs issue camp timer and they have 30 seconds to leave spot. Boom kippa moves down to worst leader /s. Nos nader is useless in the open and runs off to fortnite.

Scrap the map rotation and go back to the original home selects map or defer to get side selection. Really dumb that we are relying on RNG for side selection because the maps aren't balanced. That's not on the community or the squads to be forced to play different maps because only one map is balanced. Drop KR if the community really wants to force using every map since that map is really skewed.

*IF people want to do map rotation without coin flip* Don't like the dueling for sides either but would rather have 3v3 to determine sides. At least that is more representative than watching a duel that has no impact in an actual USL game. Don't think most squads last season even played on the dot, most used their delay to either find nts or wait on another squaddie to log. Time sensitivity shouldn't be an issue if duels was considered the replacements by advisors to replace the coin flip.

This is pretty much to help give squads an additional angle to break camps where squads literally hide next to their rape lines, which happens quite often in this part of EC or the left side of apollo's map. As long as you enter that portion of the secondary rape lines, you can shoot people outside the original rape lines. You can't use the secondary rape lines to shoot the opposing enemy inside their rape lines. This should help deter the people who camp next to their base if people are trying to increase the pace of the game and avoid camping.

Obviously down for testing new maps, but it probably shouldn't be considered for this upcoming season at all. Not if season is 4 weeks away.

Ideally squads can test it off and on for the following season.

I think Triton Badlands could be a good USL map with some tweaks. It's like a medium-small map with some close quarters that could really see support classes shine.

On my old PC I had worked on a map which was essentially NML without the trees and instead had dead trees/rocks/physics that could thrive in a 5v5 setting I think. Not sure if we wanted to go in that direction for a future season... but I think it would be great if we did more squads, smaller games.
