The people who play Cazzo used to be the people to get public arenas in USL active before SB's would ruin them.

So it's our fault for not starting pubs, not sure why we'd punish them if they're having fun.

I have nothing to do with Cazzo dudes.

Get on the Discord and try negotiating with Jovan if you think Cazzo needs to come down.

There's still a few people who like it because of the AI/Single Player possibilities keep in mind.

I'm not saying to punish them, I'm just saying this is why people are asking for it to come down.

So really this entire game rests on the whims of Johny Rico. Good luck with that.

Blame someone else for everyone not logging in and just playing pub. Mecca hits this right on the head. We cannot punish the people playing Cazzo who are playing a zone they enjoy.

Dp, I have to say the people playing Cazzo are not the ones who would start up pub, but rather just people who play Cazzo. If we want this game to be active WE actually have to make it active.

It requires a couple simple things for this to actually be successful. First, we actually need to log into the game and actually have a desire to play. It is not as if there is not actual red vs blue arenas anymore. Second, you actually have to unspec and play pub and not have 12 people in an arena with 8 in spec.

It boils down to us period. This may be a small community and it may have grown fond of playing other games which is normal, but the only way that pub is ever playing again is by us actually making an effort that requires will and maybe even some basic planning.

What did they do before there was Cazzo, BB?

Half of them didn't play or are new. The people I see playing Cazzo are GeneinRL(Oct's dude from Geneshift) and people who don't play USL or pub. I can't think of their names right now but the one guy loves to just sit in his mechs and the other just spams GL at people. I would say one of the only people that play Cazzo and USL would be Pant.

Log in to a usl zone. Make thread on forums that pub is starting. Wait for others. When people log on, unspec.

Its not hard, I did it for years in sbl and a fuckton here sans the forum posts. No need to remove other zones. Just log on and unspec.

Make use of Discord too when trying to populate pub. A few months ago Cazzo was affecting USL pub play imo. But most USL players have gotten tired of the glitches and what not.

It may have been a few months ago but when the average player base is like 8 it isn't the problem anymore, we are. It again boils down to what type of effort are we as a community willing to put in to this game.

The community is a bit divided:

- People who want changes
- People who don't want changes
- People who just don't care and will play regardless
- People who are just bored of the game

When you have a community as small as this, that divide is not good for stability.

So what do you do? I'm not sure. But I do know we're still here after 17 seasons and I honestly never thought we would make it this far. It's 100% down to the players themselves to make an effort. But no one is going to be the first one to do it.
