Theres a key difference here and I figured you were of intelligent sorts and would've realized this.

1) Some may be complaining about the roster lock change date im not im discussing its execution and the repercussions of said failed execution on someone else's squad that has no impact on mine.

2) The key difference if we're talking about changing dates(roster lock ability to hop) And season enlistment date which helped ensure the league had 6 active squads and no bye week allowing more people to play(overall for the good of the league). If you think that's even remotely comparable you're about as retarded as metal and his arguments he would randomly toss in.

Again the overlying issue is that out of 2 weeks of the season 2 legitimate complaints / appeals / arguments whatever you wish to call it have occurred additionally they have both been at the expense of backs. And again I get it he's a troll he most certainly is annoying to deal with from staff perspective wise, but one cant help but wonder if there is some actual legitimate bias because its him.

And because I know some retard is going to say "well if we kept it at its original date you wouldn't have been able to recruit gambler because you kicked cup and rz on the 23rd"

Original date of roster lock is 6/23 after matches were played out, this happened in the morning of the matches. So to reiterate it has no impact on me.

Im an advisor for a reason, and that's to call out bullshit and help keep shit in check when necessary and look at things objectively and form an unbiased opinion. And the fact of the matter is with this current issue and hell even the appeal issue both have had direct involvement between emp and backs. Leading me to definitely believe either;
a) shady dealing or b) biased decision making.

This isn't about " impeaching emp as pant trolled about" or even attacking him, as I said in previous post he's been chill and lenient which is a positive but you also have to deal with the negative to, as all of us who've been admin have had to do.

Theres a difference in being lenient and flexible to allow more squads / players into the league(beneficial). And flexible with rosterlock time / date which in this situation as shitty of a player district is only seems beneficial to MO(Emps squad) and hurts backs' squad. Again I stated I didn't really care when rosterlock came on in headstaff forums since you wish to quote me from there to the public emp, but had you just stuck to the original decision / announcement of "roster lock will go on <b>after</b> week 3 matches none of this would be an issue and backs would have no argument.

Still don't know why you even bothered to bring up the argument of "should I just retroactively reverse any roster movement after the 23rd?" no you moron because that still doesn't follow through with happening after week 3 matches. -_-

You can just justify your opinions with whatever logic you would like. The principle of a deadline is for it to be completed and honored. Neither deadlines were honored (one because it helped the league and the other because of delayed matches and date change). Irregardless of the reasoning, at both times the dates changed; if you think I am saying both situations are comparable, you didn’t fathom what I was trying to convey. So before you jump the gun and question my intelligence, please take a step back- and rationalize the post- a person of reason does not defend their stance by making unnecessary comments of the other person’s perceptive. I see things as black and white, not gray. It is or it isn’t. Once more- it is the principle not the situation. You can’t agree to a decision because it benefits the masses( season date change) , but disagree with the same decisions (changing dates) when situations like this arise. For every action there is a reaction, you being an admin at a previous time should understand this.

Discussing it on a public forum- you know as well as i do, that an appeal won’t happen. If you truly wanted to see this overturned, you would post in head staff forums about it- where decisions have always been made. I have yet to post my true opinions on the deadline being changed, the appeal granted and the roster lock- so please don’t take my previous post as an opinion. It is more of a post of principle than anything. I will not post what I think, as the more we all continue to discuss this the longer it will take for our community to move forward.

I am not a fan of the argument of: its backs and that’s the reason this is being overlooked- unless there is a history of emperor being consistently malicious with backs prior to this decision- i don’t see the grounds in which people are claiming character directive as the reason roster lock date changed. What I see is, Backs squad was granted access to the league after the deadline changed, his rematch was granted when appealed, roster lock changed and during this deadline (4 minutes past) - district left his own squad and joined emperors (which i can see as an issue) but i have no real reasons to suspect emperor as a classless person. I do not see the intent to harm backs and BW in any way based off prior interactions between the two. So i will back up the admin when a decision is made. For the record, I don’t really mind backs, as a matter of a fact; he brings activity and laughs on these forums daily. He seems like a decent dude on discord, but his forum persona is a tad be more overwhelming. If that’s how he wants to portray himself, that’s his prerogative. I don’t mind it one bit; it makes the days go by faster.

I do have a question for backs tho: listening to our rematch on YouTube, is there a reason you were maliciously telling your squad to log off after the servers crashed? Our captain did not tell us to log off, we stayed and were able to re-play the rematch. It’s unfortunate you ask for an appeal, it gets granted, then you choose to hinder the league in which you were granted access to by deliberately telling your squad to not stick around.

Don't forget he was telling half his squad the rematch was Friday instead of Thursday night. I had to make a news post regarding it because multiple members were confused from BW. No one from FU PM'd me though...

Backs likes to play the victim for some reason, but he does a lot of this shit himself. I do find him annoying, but I find a lot of you annoying.

- I let him captain in the SL Tournament despite 20 people begging me not to, because I have nothing against the guy

- I tell him if he can prove he has an active squad, we will redo the schedule just for him

- I could've easily said "appealing because a match was 7v7 instead of 8v8 is dumb, appeal denied" - but no, I let the rest of the Head Staff decide. The only thing I did was enforce punishment for speccing to avoid death for a repeat offender. I argued very publicly this was a dumb appeal and a waste of time. But I let it happen against my better judgment. A lot of you disagree and think because it should've been 8v8 it was worth replaying. Whatever. He got his appeal with the same stipulations MO got their appeal. Replay the match before the following weekend.

- I delayed the roster lock to Wednesday night. I said this 4 days before it was to happen. The time to argue against my decision to delay the roster lock until the 26th was when I made my news post. Literally no one publicly commented on my decision on my news post. I had a few people message me asking me why I moved it back at all. A few people messaged me why not until after the Week 3 matches. BB made a comment in the Captain forums to move it back to the 30th. One H.Staff member said the 24th. Another H.Staff member said go ahead and lock the rosters.

- I didn't ask Distrikt to join my squad until after he left. Does it look shady or scummy? Sure. So what was I supposed to do? Just not recruit Distrikt because it looks bad?

- How would the roster lock have been moved back to June 30th have stopped Distrikt from leaving? He clearly left after I told him Backs was refusing to play July 7th. And if we're being honest, I think between Backs telling half his squad to play Friday for the rematch and Backs not even asking his squad if they can play July 7th made Distrikt go "let me get the fuck out of here".

Let's lock this thread, please. 98% of us are adults, and too much wasted typing/thoughts have occurred here. This could have all been prevented if we had a Deputy Admin in place to help Emperor in these tough situations...

Yeah having a deputy admin who also happens to be the co captain of the squad at the center of this mess would have really alleviated any sort of notion of bias.

I left because he appeals for a rematch despite our lack of activity and ability. He proceeds to schedule the match without informing the squad. He then gets banned for being a tool and speccing before end.
