It seems that on Friday and Saturday nights people with <b>normal</b> lives don't log on and it has created a downward trend on population for those nights. The regulars won't even log on because they know Infantry is dead, just like in the morning and afternoons.

I created this thread to bounce some ideas back and forth. I propose we make Fridays and/or Saturdays a mix night. What do you guys think?

In the meantime till we decide, I will be hosting USL/SL mixes around 9pm est on Fridays and Saturdays. Hopefully we can turn things around and get Infantry going on those nights.

The problem is that people really just play this game in their free time. I know for me personally, working 7-5 M-F I don't spend much time, if any, on Inf during the weekends.

Not trying to knock your ideas or anything but realistically, with the player base we have this is what we're faced with. I know even during the final years of SOE the game wasn't very populated on Fridays or Saturdays.

A way to get some interest is to maybe hold some events and have prizes that will give you recognitions or "chits" on your USL profile or something along those lines. This may get people interested to actually log on during these days.

CTF has also been having an impact on USL's activity.

Thanks for doing this Uzo. I love mixes. One of the best parts of old SL, and a great way to get new players involved.

If we can, let's make that a focus - getting new players into the game. Should they want to play.

Someone port Infantry to Android thanks

Last night was a huge success!

The turnout was great - an average of 20 active players throughout the 4 hours.

At around 10:30pm EST I started by hosting a "fun" arena in USL, which consisted of a couple competitive War events ^1(footnote for definition), followed by traditional mixes. We later switched gears and headed towards SL for a few noncompetitive War type events. I finished hosting around 2am.

Tonight I will most probably do the same, if we could get the same turnout - Hope to see you all there.

^1 War event - Summoning two teams to random areas in the map. Each area is a different battle in the "war". Battles will typically be best of three. First team to win three battles, wins the War.
