The map poll closed out remarkably close with 37 votes (41%) going to both maps so congratulations to the heads of both campaigns for a very tight race. While this is a deadlock in almost any way you look at it, the opinion of the captains (both including and excluding co-captains) favored Apollo's map.

-Including all captain/co-captain votes, Apollo's Map wins with 11 votes (48%) to 8 votes (35%) for Bomb's map
-Looking at captains only, it's even more slanted. Apollo's map received 5 captain votes (62.5%) while Bomb's map received only 1 (12.5%)

Apollo/Palm, thanks for the countless hours you must have spent piecing the map together and working to get the physics/vision right - we all know that's a pain.

We're also going to go ahead and announce the map rotation for the next 3 seasons, and that starts with bringing us back to KR. While this map obviously holds a lot of history/tradition within USL, the community generally feels the map is unbalanced (favoring Collective). I would challenge you all to channel your map anger, map happiness, and map critiquing skills that you've built up these past few weeks towards suggested revisions for balancing KR so we can sail smoothly into Season 5 in a few months.

According to Staley's post voting ended on Sunday. So any votes after 12 AM do no count. Which means Bomb's map won by 2 votes 36-34.

"Let's aim to have all votes in by Sunday the 26th so that we'll know, a week ahead of time, what map is preferred heading into the season."

Why? Look at captain votes vs their squad members. Half of the squads are split. So clearly some squads have members who want something different than what their captains want.

No. It just means the captains are not communicating with their squad and thus captain votes don't hold more weight than anyone else's.

Captains have to lead and strategize according to the map, who cares what your 4th string med says
