I paid my dues in every league running shit squads for the good of the game, not interested in it anymore.

Bench players get good on the best squads when captains give them the opportunity to play, which doesn't happen a whole lot.

I get what Apollo was going for but I think I was a bad example.

A better example would be someone like SV. He wasn't that great in season one but playing with the SFo/CK guys a lot has made him a much stronger player in a shorter amount of time compared to people who constantly played for lower tiered squads.

Sunday is the best experience though. That's when we really lead (during the week we are more free, IMO...at least I was). I did a lot of stupid shit leading scrims during the week. I think Tris and Sabo were the only guaranteed starts on TS vs every squad (if they showed/wanted). My other starters only guaranteed 30 minutes vs the SFIs and Juggs (but my starters were guaranteed in playoffs).

Either way though, you're not wrong. It's sill better to scrim with a top squad then a noob team (at first). But I don't think everyone gets those chances.
