OP
This season, in terms of competition and balance, seems to be the best one since i've been back. The upper tier players are spread out across several squads, and while friends may be 3-0 right now I am still not convinced that means they'll win it all.
In no particular order (The players I list are the ones I believe should be the starters):
worms -
A squad full of good people and good players. Extremely stable and the chemistry that comes with that is helping them. Chemistry is definitely one of their strong points. Strong potential for championships.
Bmei: Standout star this season in my opinion. The Bmei era. He's demolishing folks and playing to the best of his ability.
DeviL: Doesn't disappoint. Always plays consistent. Can challenge every top tier rine in the game.
Trisance: A machine. Guy has the ability to disappear for long periods of time, come back, and still rank 1.
kaga: Solid all-arounder. Medic is stronger than his rine.
bronco: Good medic. Won't be standout amazing at it, but he knows what he is doing and will keep his rines alive.
SM: Playing well, his veteran experience is showing.
Jek: While I see a little rust still there, he's still keeping up with his squadmates. I like him as an LMG better than a rine though.
OlaCola: Ola can lead and rine. While he may not stand out and rank 1 every game, he's smart and uses it to his advantage.
New Money -
The Statutory Apes of this season. While they may not win a game this season, although never count out an upset happening, they are here to have fun and gain experience. Saying that, they do have some veterans on the squad and that's probably helping them just a bit in guidance and progression.
Daes: Veteran player, but rusty and very laggy. His lag is hurting them, as I don't know who's leading if Daes is lagging.
Vince Carter: The certified troll king. Gold medal in trolling. A good medic though. He's spent the last couple of seasons on lower tier squads, so I'm guessing he's just playing for fun.
solid snake22: Another vet infantry player. Remember seeing this name around years and years ago. He's playing decently, probably their best marine.
LOCCEDG604: Needs to pick it up in a big way. He's failing to execute at the minute.
Lyric: Same as LOCCEDG604
JESSE: Not too sure who this is, but he's playing on par with solid snake22 at the minute.
Frap: See Lyric/LOCCEDG604
Bias: An alright support rine. Won't rank, but will do what he can to pick up the slack from his failing squadies.
Carebears -
The most retarded squad i've ever witnessed. Literally full of spastics. It's as if Armor went into a meeting of retards and just plucked random people and gave them nametags with a squadname on it.
Drift: Rusty but is shaking it off. His work schedule doesn't help his rust, as he can barely SB during the week. He's getting better as he goes on though. Aspergers extraordinaire.
Ice: Downie. Plays well, aims well, focus fires well. Has the listening ability of a potato.
Universal Soldier 2k: Very good aim when he steps up to the plate. Have seem him one clip people time and time again. Slightly less retarded.
victim: Good medic, will keep the rines alive and will be aggressive with the PDW when needed. Autistic.
Templar: Opposite of victim in terms of medic style. Will focus on healing and keeping alive, plays safe and pays attention to his rines. Down syndrome.
Death: Less of a mentally retarded player and can be stuck on main, flank, or solo and will still perform the same.
Zebe: Gets angry at his squad for talking about dumb shit in the middle of sbs.
Cael: Retard.
Pandy: Retard.
District - Retard drunk.
Bronzie Bears -
Contenders for championships. Full of brilliant players. Could give friends a very tough time if they match up against them again.
kippa: One of my favorite leaders that i've played with. Very calm, very vocal, very precise. His medic ability is one of the best ingame. Knows when to heal, knows when to shoot.
noskeeper: Didn't know who he was until last season, but that just means to me he went from being nobody to being in the top10 rines of the game. Gets tunnel vision sometimes, but aim is crispy.
ER: Peruvian legend. Has been playing well since the dawn of time. Played with this guy a long ass time ago and he's only gone and improved everytime I see him.
em4: Playing like he always plays. Packs a punch. I hate 1v1ing him.
Y: First saw him on Tank in S2, he played well then but I don't think he begun to shine in my eyes until S3 and he's kept that up this season aswell.
yosh: I see him more as a support rine, but he knows what he's doing. He stays alive and he focus fires well.
Ninj: The legend Sammy. For me he's in the top 5 rines. He will literally log on after a night out drunk as fuck, and still take steamy shits on people.
mu: Reliable medic. Has been playing well and keeps his marines alive. Have seen him get caught out a few times though with bad positioning.
Access Denied -
Chaos Blade's soldiers. A middle tier squad that has the potential to upset and make playoffs, but I don't see them making it past the semi-finals if they do.
BFN: Love watching BFN play. His CTF experience shows in his playstyle and it switches the game up a bit. Saying that, he has bad positioning sometimes and gets himself into tricky situations.
Brillhart: Decent marine. Fits in well it seems, his aim is off sometimes but he plays intellectually.
Val: Alright medic.
s.f.: Gets caught out way too much lately. Needs to start playing safer and smarter.
Havok: Best player in this squad along side Chaos Blade.
Chaos Blade: Clearly stands out as the best rine in the squad. Sometimes has to put the team on his back and carry them.
Mizzouse: Trick nade master. Solid rine, nades piss me off.
c0mbo: Veteran with a load of experience under his belt. A bit rusty, but is faring very well.
friends - Great group of players. Winning everything so far and the confidence is showing. They have the best possibility to win the season unless another squad steps up. Their banner creeps me out for some reason.
Champion: Top 5 rine. Knows it too. Will shine alot of the time and his confidence helps. Isn't afraid to throw himself into battles with fists swinging away.
dave: Neckbeard fedora dave. Loved playing with him on Warhawks even though he goes to bed at like 7 PM. Intelligent player with good aim.
Sov: Best medic in the game (sorry kippa). If I watch friends sb, I try to spec Sov. He can switch between medic and rine smoothly. While his medic is better than his rine, he is still dominant when he does rine.
Kiediss: Fairfax junior. Knows how to keep his boys alive and you can be confident you will live with him beside you.
Sol: Equal to Trisance. Can go MIA for ages and come back and knee people in the nuts.
EASOE: Plays very confidently. He'll fight anyone, anywhere. While that may hurt him sometimes, it'll benefit him the others.
UnborN: I like him better as LMG than rine, but he still plays rine very well and has been the gem of this squad so far.
Warhawk: DEATH43.2. Good support marine, while he may get emotional sometimes he's still a very trustworthy rine.
FiN@L~F@Te - On paper they could give everyone a tough time. Although lately they've fell short of making it a reality and they are going to need to redeem themselves.
Khaos: One of the best leaders in the game, if not the best. It's a switchup between kip and Khaos for that title. Aside from leading abilities, he's a great marine. You have leaders that can lead well but won't rank, and then you have Khaos who can lead exceptionally well and still rank.
ExT(1): Extremely vocal player with snappy aim. Has a clear mind in game and pays attention to whats happening all around him. Sometimes he'll go bezerk and kill loads, sometimes he'll just stick to the middle of the board.
Colossal: Well balanced in intelligence and aim and survivability. He's too cocky sometimes though.
Killer: Hasn't been living up to his name recently. Killer on Tank was the Killer I like. If he can get back to playing like that then I would see him as more of a threat
Jane: An alright medic, eats LAWS like she's Pacman (Pacwoman) though.
Iron: I'd choose Iron to start as med over Drake or Uzo to be honest, but I haven't seen him play yet. Maybe activity issues, but never the less he's the best medic on this squad.
Pliskin: Stable marine, has glimpses of brilliance.
Tyrant: Crush is experienced and he should be performing better than he has been. He's still playing well, just not as well as he should be.
snakes - Waka Flocka gets stuck into my head every time I see this squad name. It's annoying. Apart from that, I can see them gunning for that championship title. They play well together, although sometimes they play a bit too passively?
Fairfax: The OG big daddy medic. Has been medding at the top for as long as I can remember and that still hasn't changed.
Tactical: Top 5 marine easily. Ernie is precise in his aim everytime I watch him play. Hasn't had a bad day from my recollection.
OMC: He's just behind Bmei for the shooting star this season. He's out to show his worth.
Staley: Robin to Fairfax's Batman. He's a very capable medic and while I believe Fax is the better medic here, he comes extremely close.
Legacy: Seasoned veteran with a heavy hand. Comes up big when needed but isn't performing just as well as Tactical and OMC.
Leak: Leo my babe. His rine is consistent, but his LMG is the best ingame for me. Stick that LMG vest on please.
Apollo: Won't rank alot but won't fuck up either. A passive player but it suits him.
tg: Some games he'll People's Elbow everyone and then some games he won't do anything that will wow you. Overall a good player.
This took way longer to write than I expected it to and now my brain actually hurts and I probably re-used words way too much but I had some free time so figured i'd go ahead and throw something together for you kids who go on USL and read stuff when you're having a shit.
To close: this season is a good one so far. We have the underdog in Access Denied, who if Chaos Blade pushes they could cause an upset and make playoffs. We have the 4 squads performing extremely well and making it very difficult to predict who's gonna take it all in BB, friends, snakes, and worms. We have the down syndrome idiots in Carebears. We have the paper lineup that should be in line with the top 4 squads but are falling short and need Khaos to kick them into gear. We have the lower tier squad trying to prove themselves and do something surprising in New Money.
That's all folks.
