Hi guys, I'm just posting to let everyone know myself and a couple others are going to try to bring some life back to CTFPL.(if you're not interested, stop reading). In order to do so, were going to need some help.

First off we need a website. I'm looking into a couple leads on getting one made, but no replies so far. If anyone is interested in making one for us (similar to this one) that would be awesome.

Secondly, player base. Tell your friends! I know a lot of people keep contact with people they've played with over the years. Let them know!

Were going to need people to help in game. Refs, head refs Etc. People who want to help, who want the game to live on. People who will be fair. I don't want people to think "fuck pl I never played it anyways", if you hate pl, do it to keep the game alive.

Were going to have to start out as an ovd league until we get enough people to actually fill a squad and be active. It's going to take time but well getter.

If anyone's interested in helping out or have any positive suggestions, please let us know. It's not going to happen tomorrow, but with that being said it's in the works. I have every sony file, every map, every item file. It'll be very similar to the way it was! Should be a good time.

Just to keep everyone updated, we have started in on getting the revised, bug free map put up for us, and then were going to get the item sets fixed up.

you're going to have to bring back pl players or get some who play multiple leagues/once played because there arent going to be enough to support a league

I only say that because we've all played usl and its easy to pick up. Not all of us have played pl and it takes time that most of us don't want to put time into that a majority are already not putting time into usl. Idk how much longer usl can last but people can just show up to matches on the weekend, it's easy. However showing up to getting butt raped in pl has no incentive for new players to the league.

each team shouldn't need too many. i'd say 7-8 a team would do since it's just 5v5s. but good point mc

Teams will be allowed 8 players, since most people only play one class ei: medic, engineer, squad leader, etc.

Theres already 3 teams that are ready to sign up just old pl players

got some pretty sweet news! Site is being build as we speak and will be up and running in a matter of days!
