Salary cap can work because then you don't have to play with people you don't like . You just might not be able to play with as many of your friends as you'd like.

The same conclusions can't be drawn between the SL draft and a USL draft. SL had much less interest, less activity, and many wanted a quick end to the season to return to USL. Not to mention that the SL draft took a bit of time to get started, which may have had a part to blame for the diminishing interest. There are examples to be learned from the SL draft, but I think a USL draft would be more successful than an SL one. Despite Manu hating me, he still played on my squad and showed up. Maybe deep down he loves me. Manu ???

No confirmation on whether it's I&C that Romulocks was referencing in his original post. One of the other major problems is a lack of players willing to step up to lead/captain a squad and continue to help their squad perform. Losing two potential captains could be a blow (and I assume others on their squad(s) feel the same way, but obviously not all of them), as many don't seem interested in the responsibility, even those who used to do it before. With Mecca and Apollo saying that they'll captain a squad, that's great, though those names may cause hesitancy to future recruits given the, at times, instability of past endeavors. Regardless I think the more potential captains that we have, the better off we'll be, as it seems we're lacking in captains as much as we are in referees.

Whether or not ultimatums are a good thing, or whether this particular one has much weight, the post is a good one and has begun the discussion on what changes could be made.
