I think we should do away with "Deadliest Player" and split the award into 2. One for most kills within a season and one for the overall league MVP. What is the point of these ratings if we don't use them besides to look at? They have no factor in whether or not a player wins the award.

Anyone can get a lot of kills against a lesser squad which isn't really the definition of "Deadliest player" imo. What you want to look for is players who can do good against the tougher squads. With a season as short as we have, missing one game makes it impossible to be in contention for the award.

Not only that but look how much the squads changed up because they didn't make the playoffs. Kind of throws things out of whack as well now that some squads have people they didnt have before completely changing the matches for people who didn't play them yet. Just my 2 cents.

I think it's fine having an award that multiple people can win (kills) Then a best marine award - I think factors should be more than rating and kills. Some squads stat pad, and you can't fault an individual because he chooses not to pad his stats on a weaker team. Perhaps take the top 4 squads (playoff squads) and break down how each of them performed against a higher caliber team.

Example - If someone goes 20-5 and 23-2 against the two bottom tiered squads and then goes 2-8 or 3-3 against the two top tiered squads, is that person really the deadliest marine?

I actually really like this idea. Plus alot of good players don't play vs worst squads but do really well vs better ones and don't get enough recognition for it.

Can we have a most deaths for DEATH43.2 aswell?

One award for the marine with the most kills regardless of rating.

In my opinion only ratings should be used to determined league MVP. Voting is always biased, SL was proof of this. You would either have to give every single person that participated in the season the option to vote or nobody at all.
