I have really thought of the scenarios playing in my head through out the day today and allowed myself to "sleep on it" and have made my decisions in regards to last night's drama. Unfortunately we are in this predicament and people's emotions and "trolling" attempts got the better of their judgement yesterday. I feel sorry for the squads and spectators involved that were affected by these actions. These actions have caused commotion amongst the player base as well as uncertainty for the future of this league. Please take my decision with a grain of salt - none of it is personal. It is an outcome that needs to be made swiftly. I fully understand that any way I choose to rule, will not be welcomed 100% and I am ok with that.

DP/Dark:
Did nothing wrong in this instance. I asked him to get involved as I am part of Magic and did not want my decision last night to be unfair. I fully support his decision on the initial rematch and I thank him for providing further insight through out last night and today.

Champion
Will have his in game powers removed as a moderator. from there, Champion will serve a 1 match ban (aside from the rematch) and is NOT eligible to play vs Passionfruit this coming Sunday.

Eric/Spartan-
Will have his in game powers removed (referee); following this; Eric will service a 1 match ban (Aside from the rematch) and is NOT eligible to play vs Snakes the following week (Week 5).

Infinite:
is NOT allowed to ref this weekend (week 4 matches) and will only be allowed to ref beginning Week 5 - at the discretion of myself and/or DP (dark). If one of us does not see him as "fit" for the role, he will not be allowed. There was very little communication between infinite and fellow captains on what was transpiring throughout the beginning of the chaos.

The Re-Match:
It is unfair for the players a part of both Magic and IDC to have gone through the unneeded speccing twice- So there will be a rematch this Sunday before normal scheduled matches. Both Eric and Champion will not be allowed to play during this match and both players are NOT allowed in the arena during this match. The time is not negotiable; It will be set for 8:45 PM Est (which is 45 minutes before the first normally scheduled match). If either squad does not show, it is a forfeit. The match will be replayed this Sunday without Champion and Eric either - just to make myself clear.

Sportmanship Rule:
Will be revisited and I will update accordingly. The rule has not been followed and is ambiguous to say the least. I do not feel that what Dave said was "over the top" and "exaggerated" that warrantied continued speccing - This still does not provide other players to take matters into their own hands and bypass standard league protocols.

I do not think that Infinite should be punished in this situation. He did what he felt was in his right to do. And followed the rule that is set for that situation. Now you can claim that what Dave said didn't warrant this. But when you leave a rule like this wide open for interpretation then this is what you will get.

This is two weeks in a row where rules have tilted an sb. And someone needs to rethink how these rules or written. You cant say refs discretion and then get mad when he does it. That's why there needs to be two refs at every match so that they both would have to agree before anything is done.

I am no longer arguing about our match last week. But I do believe that is a rule that needs to be corrected. If the person runs into ds to escape death then it should be counted as a auto spec . Awarding the other team with 2 kills.

Lyric, how about step up and ref then? If you click the staff page there is really only 2 people now? It's super easy. This also goes out to anyone, step up and ref. The more we have the more eyes on the games. You all know you're just going to sit in spec and watch it otherwise.

Yea more people are definitely gonna want to referee, they are so appreciated around here. Ref almost every game for the past two seasons, record them all so people can watch them, make a decision that followed the rules at the time and get hanged for it. Sounds like a good way to waste some time.

Infinite wasn't at fault at all. He reffed the rules presented to him.

Infinite has "messed" up worse than this but he has to get punished because someone felt unheard? Why let one fools choice ruin someone's Sunday who has shown ten fold over the admin he cares.
Just suspend yourself for letting this situation escalate for an extra 30 minutes before you suspend your ref
