don't use regular shampoo, they strip the natural oils in your beard making it look like you have a brillow pad under your chin. I've never had a huge beard because they look ugly as fuck on most guys, but I'm pretty sure most people in beard care say that you should comb it before you wash it out, and use something without a lot of chemicals in it ... maybe something you would wash a baby's hair with. Then use some moroccan oil it in or something

I've never been too concerned over shampoo or conditioner for example as everything is washed naturally so to speak when you're showering anyway with whichever set regime you go through.

What I would recommend is getting yourself a decent beard oil, it might seem a tad expensive however it lasts a long time and you only need to apply very little amounts.

In my research I learned you should only wash the beard once or twice a week, but no more. Otherwise it can damage the hair and/or follicles. You CAN rinse with plain water though with no probs.

Wash with coconut oil not regular shampoo

Pat dry beard completely

Use badger balm lube with a beard comb every day

You should never wash your head or beard hair everyday

Also never use condoms. They stop your body from building a tolerance to stds.

And never listen to Palm b/c it's all BS. =D
