I would like to take some time to go over- both review and decision to the BFB vs MS match.

Even though the admins have already discussed the reasoning behind their decision, they asked me to chime in on my take for Hedchot's appeal of the BFB vs MS match this past Sunday. In watching the footage it is apparent that the restarting of the match was not intentional as Demon specified he was having *startmatch issues (command was not working). This was reflected in the conversation(s) that took place during the malfunction and correction with other staff members and players alike.

Regardless of who the player is, whether he is liked, disliked, respected and/or hated - when a player brings up concerns to staff, it should be viewed by all parties. I took Hedchot's appeal seriously and took a close look- if it needs to be upheld or denied. In reviewing both pre-game footage and full match; it is noted that the restarting due to command malfunction did not affect the match outcome.

Unfortunately we cannot predict as staff and players alike when issues/discrepancies arise, but what we can do is remedy the situation before it gets out of hand. There was hardly any time lapse from when the startmatch issue occurred to when it was remedied; it was quick acting on staff to ensure the game started at a reasonable time. We will continue to monitor instances that occur due to unforeseen complications, but it is in my best interest to assure Hedchot and his squad I took a close look at this appeal. As it stands, there is no ground for a rematch - as the issue that took place was not intentional and did not affect the outcome of the match.

On a side note: I would like to extend my appreciation for players like Hedchot that continue to help the league with an active and competitive squad so we can all have someone to play every Sunday (minimizing bye weeks). It is because of players like Hedchot and the other captains, that our league continues to flourish and stay entertaining for all of us to enjoy.

If anyone has any issues with my decision- my apologies, but I stand behind it. The decision was not influenced by a 3rd party - it was strictly mine to make and elaborate to the public, which this post showcases that. Sorry it took so long to post it, I have been rather busy with work. I appreciate everyone's patience.

I respect your decision. All I ever wanted was a fair third party to review it and give their decision. Having the two refs that were in our match make the decision of this appeal was something I could not stand behind.

Great match, BFB, well played. You outsmarted me. I beat myself. I let my squad down. But we learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward. How do you think I went from living in red hook 1 bedroom apartment living with rats to 4 vehicles and a paid off 2.5 acre home in NJ? I was born an underdog and I overcame all the obstacles in my life.
