Yeah, no need to cap duels with elo. There may be some incentive to still cap facing same opponent though per some period of time. I definitely had to prevent people from deliberately feeding wins to players when I reffed it ages ago if they didn't care about their own rating.

If challenges are allowed that have to be accepted, it may create some similar trolling. I.e. a good player could tank their elo on purpose before challenging people they don't like just to drag them down.

In the long run, all these things kinda just work themselves out as long as most people duel many different players many times, so it depends on how much people engage with it in a fair/reasonable way.

I'd be happy to do it, but I'm not online very much. I tend not to get home til 10-10:30est and don't spend much time on comp outside of weekends these days.

I think I might just roll with:

- 10 duel provisional period
- 10 duel limit per week
- Cannot duel the same person more than 2 times in one week
- ~2-3 month season length

I'll play it by ear during the season and give people enough warning on when the season will actually end.

Still need more refs/hosts as well.

Metal I actually prefer to duel close... lol.

Some glitch in the W/L on the standings for established duelers, it shows Manifest Destiny as 1-16 with an 1813 rating and noskeeper as 13-2 with a 1356. Provisional dueler ratings/W-L records look normal though.
