And? if I enjoy playing on a map of course I'm going to pick the more balanced one. sooooo... going back to my original point, if people still play on kr and still want it, we should leave it. I don't know if they still do or not, but obviously people still play on it.

lol is KP in the rotation too? this argument is between sov and apollo so why would it be any different for any other map lol. Throw in more maps for more options. Other than that it's going to be a dull as fuck as season goes on to the next

As far as KP is concerned. If there's any legitimate suggestions to revise it a bit I'd be more than willing to do a little work on it.

As far as the respawn thing is concerned. It'd be a HECK of a lot easier to just up the death timer for the map specifically rather than try to cut up the map and move spawns further away.

If the regular season is 6 weeks, I would prefer that we use 3 maps and use each map twice.

Pretty much, every map should be polled and I've said that from the very beginning.. and no I personally wouldn't title it that until we know how sides will be chosen.

The only way to make KR balanced is to do a double season strictly on that map, and I don't see very many people wanting that. I'd also be okay with a stationary map to play on all season if it is one of the played ones.

But again, no idea if people would want that either.. Should be making new polls on a weekly basis.

I said this in the other thread, I'll say it here.

If we end up with 7 squads, which I expect we will, there will be 6 unique matches for each squad. Use 3 maps. Each squad gets to be home once and away once on each of the 3 maps.

I believe I also said KR & KP would be the two odd maps out in my scenario.

I agree with Apollo that we need to be using the rest of this off-season productively, and we need to begin right away.

After this nader poll is finished, we need to continue.

After talking with others and looking over the comments so far, these are the things that I believe need polled:

--Salary or FFA for next season?
--Lower roster and team sizes for next season. (8 man roster, 4v4/5v5 matches on smaller maps)
--Rape lines -- Smaller, larger, or same size? Should teams be able to enter any rape line? If so, we need to add a penalty to any team that stops moving inside of an enemy's rape line.
--the new LMG, the new AT, the new ripper. Ammo dump. Sniper damage.
--mercy rule? (if poll wins, we can then poll possible rules)
--coinflip/duel/previous map selection options.
--Should we use all of the maps this season, should we use just one, should we use a smaller number.

Should be discussed next season or closer towards the end of this upcoming season. A lot of things you want to poll seem to be one-two people harping for it without even giving any legitimate argument for it. Might as well just make ric0s dr whos zone. At least he's been consistent on what he wants.

Salary has been mentioned by more than 1 or 2 people. I've posted that if we are to use salary, it is best if we have an entire season to take the time to work on a system that might work instead of waiting until the end of the season.

Lower roster and team sizes -- I completely agree with this. We have the option to have more teams, more competition, and more diversity in maps if we reduce the team sizes. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Class changes -- of course these need to be polled. Assume you're talking about Ammo dump and Sniper damage. These should not be the next thing that we poll (similar to salary/FFA for next season), but I do not see the harm in polling these things.

Mercy rule? This has been brought up multiple times (and I believe the higher rated players tend to be the ones looking to implement it) and is something that should be put to the players.

Rape lines? Manu did bring up that he was ignored about changing the rules regarding rape lines to prevent a specific scenario of a squad hiding in an enemy's DS and them not being able to be attacked. I do not know if this is true (if he was ignored or if it is a reoccurring issue), but I do not see why we cannot include a rule that if a team camps inside of an enemy's base/rape line, then they are ref-killed and sent back to their DS. It is much easier to enforce not entering rape lines at all in this case, so I believe it is worth polling. While we're at it, I believe we should figure out how the community at large feels about rape lines. Are they fine as is? Should we make them smaller, larger?

The map selection options, quite a few people have an opinion on that.

So you believe we should not poll about the Rape Line issues/ideas/w.e, and the Ammo Dump and Sniper damage.

Staley brought up the idea of smaller games/teams/maps when he was admin, it was never implemented or discussed. I've actually had a few people willing to give it a go. Right now with free agents we have about 80-90 players willing/able to play. Would be pretty fun and competitive if we could have 10 teams, 8 man rosters with a 4v4 or 5v5 on smaller maps.

Realistically youd only want to have to bring the rosters down to that level if we were dropping to 4-5 squads per season. ATM its 6-7 a season. But polls could show people want it. Just my two cents.
