I've said this since before I was admin. If you want a poll, make a thread and get multiple people to support your idea. When you have an ironed out and clear idea you want to poll, with support, then it makes sense to poll it.

I see zero threads on the front page of these forums discussing topics to be polled. Did all of the Analyses push them back to page 2+? Bump them for me. I'm clearly missing them.

What's the point of the discussion at this point?

That's what I'm saying, no idea why he had to use extremes. The backs situation wasn't an extreme, it was a bad idea. There were no polls up at the time, and I literally said to put it up to shut his idea down. Instead I was patronized by the admin. Keep polling things that aren't ridiculous and have been argued and voiced in the past, and only after (I doubt the season is long enough) I would start doing the ridiculous backs-esque polls.

You are more active than some inactives. How does that make you a good advisor?

To Backs' credit, at least his half brained idea was clear. Allow Captains to trade players after the Roster Lock: simple yes/no.

I don't even know what idea you want polled. Flags? Maps?

What about Flags? Yes/No? Do Flags win you the game? How long do you have to hold Flags for to win? Do they not win the game? What do they do instead?

What about Maps? Who has a new Map to put up? Are we going to test the Map at all? Or is it take it or leave it?

Give me some direction here. I'm not putting up "Do you want new maps? Yes/No/Other"

This shouldn't be hard. Why ya'll acting like give me a clear idea is going to end your lives? If you can't even discuss the idea and get support and iron it out, why should I care about it?

Come up with options to replace Bowen and Apollo as advisors as both are inactive and not a part of the game right now.

I love how everyone thinks there should be a democratic vote on how the league should go like it actually matters. In all honesty, the worst thing you can do is actually involve and encourage EVERYONE'S opinion.

The reason being that most opinions are actually fucking brain dead and stupid, you can only see this over the seasonal rotation of staff and administrators attempting to cater to everyone's sense of grandeur like they're developers for Activision or Ubisoft.

Chances are they know fuck all about any form of development or project management, sure they care about the game but administrators and/or developers should implement the rules with minimal influence. People trying to change a game thats 20 years old like Bernie Sanders running for office is laughable.
