So I did some tinkering with EC Apollo and tried messing with the one way physics. I can adjust the height of any physic but at the lowest setting (16), I was still able to hit the one-way physic from a certain range. Testing the physic height at just 1 was acceptable for the client (was a guess to see if the client would crash), which means we can have the one way physics as a rape line without the fear of hitting them. Right now I have the one way's edited in EC apollo. Red/Blue lines have this change, you can't hit the line anymore. If this is something you guys want permanently, I'll add it next season.

So this means the opposing squad wouldn't be able to cross right?

Would this also affect voiding the rape lines at the 2-minute mark?

No one can cross it. The team coming out can't go back in and the other team can't even go in.

Have to figure that out, it's the same as a squad sitting in their ds till time runs out.

I feel it's become strategic for some squads to cross their enemy rape lines. It already has consequences if they shoot. Is this really that big of a issue anymore?

Yes. I play with night vision mode. The red lines are not at all visible. This is not fair. I’ve crossed back in to my rape lines like 5 times because of this and I was specced. So it’s my fault I’m using a game feature?

Keep what mizz did OR change the color so it can be seen clearly in night vision.

Enemy should be able to cross rape lines whenever... it's a big part of some leaders strategy... esp on ks10 and Apollo's...

secondary rape lines like sov suggested several seasons ago now, because titan camping on Apollos right outside their base you cannot get the angle to break it without going through their base.

We can make an official poll to see where everyone stands. I'll put it up after this weekend after Champ's current poll has had time to complete.

But I don't think it would be a good idea myself to implement this. We don't have a lot of close matches, but the few we do, the losing squads will scream bloody murder if they're unable to attack the other squad behind the rape lines in the closing minutes.

It does cut off a good chunk of the map too, preventing squads from sneaking around too. Makes the game a bit more predictable probably.

It does have some benefits though, no doubt.

Change spec timer to 40secs since backs uses a night mode it messes with his vision and he couldn't tell that was nme firing at him so he ran to spec out thinking his team had turned on him....

This works as well.
