Looks a lot better over a full season (check other season scores).

What do you suggest we change and how, Darth? Formula is on the introduction page. Full season stats are on the fantasy home page. Plenty of free spreadsheet options to choose from if you don't have Excel. :)

I don't see the formula anywhere on the introduction page, Armor. Am I missing something?

Kills as a percentage of overall team kills should be a bigger factor for marines. For example: MarineA getting 14 kills in a win when his team only has 41 total (34% of team's kills) is much more impressive than MarineB getting 18 kills in a win when his team has 123 total (15% of team's kills).

MarineA is Ext1 and MarineB is easoe. Easoe has the higher rating.

Also, assist points heavily factor in the bounty of the player that is being "assisted". This is why Mecca has way less assist points than anyone else on CK. It doesn't really make sense because he lived all game and probably assisted more kills overall than anyone else. Essentially everyone else leeched off his bounty. IMO this should only really factor into medic stats because they are the ones contributing most to keeping people alive and thus allowing them to build up said bounty.

If true, the player gets the assist point bonus. Once we're steadily tracking classes, this may change... but after testing, it does serve as a very good indication of who played medic in a match.

Assist points for the CK game only factored into medic stats. The other players on CK had too low of an AP/Points ratio.

Cage was > 65% AP (meaning he supported a lot of kills, but didn't take them) and got the bonus for being a support player. That 40 points offset his 15 deaths. I can change it so the threshold for marines is higher (or is turned off), but I put the 65% threshold in place because there was statistical significance in the number (it represented nearly 100% of all medics and we didn't have a way to track classes historically, so this gave us a way to recognize "medics" (truly, "support" players) with bonus points since they're not picking up the heavy points from kills).

Speaking of ratios - the Armor:everyone else ratio in # of words typed in this thread is pretty high. Going to let you guys run with that data & throw out any suggestions you'd like. Will check back in tomorrow (but I -do- need to fix Mecca... maybe tomorrow AM).
