Can we stop calling out people as cheaters, it's getting old and does nothing but hurt the game at this point. I can say that in 15+ seasons of playing I don't think I've ever been on a squad that cheated (at least to my knowledge) and that includes Darth as a captain. He is a good leader, as are you Kippa so I would defend you as well if people called you out for using spec info. Some of you need to get over the fact that players are just better than you, simple as that. As Chaos Blade would say, "take yer beatn".

Also what's the deal with the "punkbuster" jokes. Isn't that an anti-cheat client used in a lot of other games? I heard a rumor that admins can now scan players processes, if that's true then that's kind of shady. Not even SOE sysops did that kind of shit, if I'm being trolled then just ignore my rant.

If you have any game installed that uses punkbuster and you have Windows 8 then you'll have a windows service (not a process) running called PnkBstrA which is the service that automatically runs on windows startup. Our "admins" seem to think that if you aren't running any of those other games then that service shouldn't be running. But I don't think they realize how services work compared to processes.

Point is, they think punkbuster can be reversed to work as a hack for Infantry. Who the fuck has time to do that? And yes, they can scan your processes and see everything you're running while you're logged into Infantry.

SOE did do that.

in league of legends there is a summoner spell called clairvoyance where u can give spec info to urself w/o asking or going through the hassle of having someone else to do it, the game just gives u vision of an area how OP is that, u can only use it every 1 minute tho
