the nice thing about having 8 squad double elim playoffs is that the league stays pretty much active for most of the playoff season, if you do 4 or even 6, inevitably those squads that are not in the playoffs will not be active at all and u'll have uzo trying to make mixes every 2 min (which isn't a bad thing).

the big difference that we have to remember that this isn't a league like a normal sports league - we make up the players and we ultimately decide how we will be having fun. it isn't fun to be on a squad that either doesn't qualify or gets knocked out right away, which is why fags like me/darth/ER will jump ship to able to keep playing during the playoffs.

Y not make playoffs just last 1 week then so it's not much of a fade?

Especially if it's only 4 squads, ostensibly you could have all the matches on one day.

I like how the guys who complain about how boring infantry is, how easy it is, and how there's no competition for them are the same guys who are on stacked squads. Should've joined a mid/lower tier squad if you needed a challenge and evened out the playing field. But nah you guys don't have the balls to do that.
