Have you guys ever given a taxi driver a big tip?

In the UK we've got all these eastern european taxi drivers and i'll give these guys the equivalent of let's say a fucking $10 tip on like a $15 fare.

Most of the time they just let out a depressing grunt after i just gave dude a 30-40% tip and they would just rather you get out before showing any signs of gratefulness.

Here is what is interesting:

When i give them that tip.. and they don't even say thankyou, is it really a coincidence that i'm completely crushing in life and that they are completely comfortable in failing?

These guys are holding positive energy in so much that they have become completely disengaged when someone gives them something.

I say thankyou all day everyday to friends, colleagues even if they have done the smallest of things and i've done 95% of the work.

When i say thankyou the fucking translation is:
I'm greatful
I'm enjoying life

By not making others feel good you are only hurting yourself, becoming more disengaged. You are not winning over other people or getting one over on anyone.

Taxi driver dealing with so many randoms probably best to stay even, not try to get to high/low where every hour is different

Ill throw a cab driver 5 bucks and we end up talking about football for 5 mins. Both of us leave happy. Then again i live outside of Atlanta so they aren't assholes though.

It's funny because working at bars and restaurants most of my life majority of the people from Europe that have come in never tipped. And while I was overseas and tipped they didn't give me any gratitude either. Maybe they just are not used to it.

Over here uber is being banned, its illegal, last night i got a cab in with a white taxi driver, bitch took me straight to town, this other little fucking rodent took me all around the countryside even after i asked him why the fuck we were going in the wrong direction, they are filth, they expect nice passengers and a tipping passnger, these little mudbloods need a fucking kick in there flat nose

Most places in Europe pay service jobs min wage so they don't expect tips apollo
